I am reporting vendingmachine due to what is very obviously malicious intent at this point, in some sort of crusade that he’s started against me, not sure if due to him being unhappy about me in some report or whatever. In evidence, you’ll find the notes he’s left me in the last 48 hours, punishing behaviors that are very much common, noting me for every minute thing, and enforcing some weird standards in what is nothing other than a self described MRP server
First note (29444), he noted me for saying “XOXFORD” literally the only thing I said with an X, when talking to other xenomorphs about proper language. What the heck? I would understand if I was spamming words starting with X, but it was a one OFF of me saying XOXFORD.
Second note (29493), was because my BURST CHARACTER ON XENOMORPH ROUNDSTART was called HALO because it’s my Queen Character. Who the fuck cares about what my roundstart burst character is called??? It’s not a character that is gonna be around walking, it’s not a character that is gonna do anything other than be strapped to a wall before decaying and disappearing. Isn’t the malicious intent obvious?
Third note (29494) was because, after 3 T3s died in a silly way, I just said, as a way to convey my plan in a manner all xenomorphs would easily and quickly understand, “I’m going to cosplay WAR , we’re holding chokes” or something similar.
It’s very clear vendingmachine is not enforcing the standards of this server adequately, and this insane focus is not normal whatsoever. With 8 staff reports in the last month, 6 out of the last 8 staff reports being on him (3 of them approved) I think it may be time to rethink what he is doing as a Moderator, because this is not normal whatsoever.

rule 2, xeno roleplay standards, language
”Replacing the first letter of a word with “X” or similar is not permitted.”

other players have been asked to change their names for this, you were not singled out

this was a player who was not in the round as a xeno at all, i dont see why you would have any knowledge of them in character

irrelevant to this report
i am not noting you because i have some hatred for you, i am noting you because you are breaking the rules.
Your enforcement of the rules is extreme and it very much feels like you’re hunting for the most minute detail to issue an admin punishment as a moderator. That is the issue here.
I think a pattern is relevant in general, that’s why notes exist, to establish patterns. Well, I respectfully think that when someone is receiving this amount of staff reports, with a decent amount of them being approved, it establishes a pattern that may need to be reviewed. Not meaning that offensively, just expressing what I believe to be the facts.
While not strictly part of the notes you were complaining about I did send an ahelp on 29493 regarding you saying the following term
Hivemind, Sentinel (HA-513-L0)(F) hisses, ‘War wants a LV skip’
I ahelped it as I found it LRP to refer to OOC concepts.
I wasn’t paying enough attention for the rest of that round to see if it got a response but I imagine it contributed to that note in that round.
This could also just be a nothing burger and my ahelp was ignored, in which case feel free to remove my reply.
Xeno hivemind is an English translation of their thoughts, so words such as “hydro” or “shuttle” are acceptable. Referring to in-character mechanics such as “Evolution” and “Plasma” for example, is okay.
Saying “LV skip” refers to a strategy utilized by xenomorphs about utilizing a tunnel to get into the LZ of LV624 and stealing the shuttle in a sneaky way and fast. It’s an in-character mechanic covered under the rule. Xeno hivemind is a translation of thoughts, and that conveys the thought perfectly … Like come on… it’s a MRP server, it’s self-proclaimed as such, not HRP…
You broke the rules and got noted for it. You not liking that doesn’t make it invalid or persecution.
Xeno speech is a translation of thoughts. That doesn’t mean they can use meta information or “gamer talk”. You’re still expected to behave like a xenomorph would, which exempts behaviours that are directly reflecting, and based on the knowledge of, being in a game.
