forgot half the OP was also talking about stunning xenos with nades which I dont really care about.
here i am specifically referring to saving bodies with grenades

As the Number One receiver of FF from the M2C, I approve this statement. Also been barbecued a dozen or more times. We humans are a fragile creature.

They tend to go real fast in my experience. Probably comes down to being unable to judge when you should use it. They rarely make the most outta them, of which I am guilty as well
I hate this so much, especially when teammates frag you for just being grabbed in a very easy-to-escape situation and kill/maim you as a result, but I don’t think the solutions you propose would stop people from actually doing it. Despite the risk of extreme consequences such as gibbing and beheading (both of which have happened to me within the past month from this), teammates still choose to frag-bounce because they think they’re “helping”.
