Why do you wish to become a Fax Responder?
Without feeling like a disgrace, I’ll simply say - I’ve attempted numerous times, and failed them. Whilst this may not be ‘the time’, it’s one of the times. However, I guess I have no shame in attempting multiple times; my character does, but I guess I don’t.
What do you consider the purpose of this role?
A roleplay impacting and, on ocassions, seriously impacting role, that can shift shipside’s attention. A reserved role, one that needs a whitelist.
When would you consider it appropriate to use your phone?
Either staff allowed or an event ran that suited a phone ringing appropriate, perhaps zombie round that happened to inform the CMP just before zombies came onboard.
If playing WY Responder, what objectives do you consider within your power to give the CL?
Although not designated as a W-Y fax respondent, individuals are only authorized to address minor issues and deviations. They may form opinions based on the results of actions taken by the CL, but no further actions are permitted unless explicitly allowed.
If playing Press Responder, what objectives do you consider within your power to give the CC?
Generally, I can assign the Corporate Liaison objectives like gathering intel on xenomorphs or marine operations, persuading command to prioritize Weyland-Yutani’s interests, recovering specific equipment, or interviewing survivors for information. I might also task them with subtle disruptions, like misplacing non-critical items, if approved, but I avoid major actions like requesting PMCs or weapons unless absolutely necessary with staff permit. My objectives align with W-Y’s goals and the CL’s influence-based role.
