Why do you wish to become a Fax Responder?
I want to become a fax responder to increase my roleplay ability and give myself more options for HRP roles to fulfill. I enjoy doing paperwork on CM and prefer roleplay over gameplay. I think that I come to the table with a unique perspective and can provide more engaging correspondence for those using the fax machines in game and genuinely help to raise the immersion and depth of the roleplay.
What do you consider the purpose of this role?
The Fax Responder at its core is responsible for providing a medium through which characters can confer with an off-site or supervisory entity both to further the roleplay depth and request objectives, assets or other meaningful information.
However, the purpose of the role gets changed depending on the faction or entity the character is faxing. For example, a CMP may request authorization to arrest a CO while a CC might submit a news article for reviews. The specifics are very much dependent on the faction and individual goals of the character that is faxing. The Fax Responder is there to improve and raise the roleplay immersion and engagement while also keeping people on task and on subject when needed.
What is your playtime in Command Roles?

As of current I do meet the standards required for the Free Press fax responder, which is what I’m most interested in.

So you do, my apologies. I will retract my previous statement regarding hours.
In this case, as you wish to play on the free press responder. How do you envision yourself interacting with the CC or others during the round.

I envision myself interacting with the CC and really anyone that contacts the free press in an as professional manner as possible. I really enjoy paperwork and formatting so the free press is definitely an interesting one to touch on.
I can see myself giving the CC some minor objectives or tidbits of lore (assuming that they’re a civilian CC of course) that may be relevant to their experience and help to further the immersion for the person playing the role. I will most likely infrequently request updates occasionally and review any articles that come my way as would be done IRL.

When would you consider it appropriate to use your phone?
I would consider it appropriate to use the phone only in cases where prompted to by staff request (I.E. if they need something transmitted quickly) or in cases where major loss of life or operational failure is imminent without immediate intervention (I.E. if there isn’t enough time to send a fax).
If playing WY Responder, what objectives do you consider within your power to give the CL?
I consider more mundane non-antag objectives to be within the preview of the fax responder. So if giving the CL objectives, I would do things such as requesting they get paperwork signed or statements from survivors or other members of the crew. The more normal and mundane the better, as it tends to be a bit more realistic and on pace for the role.
If playing Press Responder, what objectives do you consider within your power to give the CC?
I consider any non-antag objective within realism to be feasible and on the table so long as it doesn’t interfere with any factions or with the on-going round or deviate from their regular duties. So things such as requesting they get photos of ‘X’ part of the ship for a documentary that’s being made or requesting that they interview ‘x’ role or person.

I’m going to decline this for now. You received a note for roleplay standards just over a month ago and whilst I don’t see any particular issues from you since then, I consider it pertinent that the note in question was whilst playing as the combat correspondent, handling for which being why you primarily want this whitelist.
