When would you consider it appropriate to use your phone?
I would consider it appropriate to use the phone only in cases where prompted to by staff request (I.E. if they need something transmitted quickly) or in cases where major loss of life or operational failure is imminent without immediate intervention (I.E. if there isn’t enough time to send a fax).
If playing WY Responder, what objectives do you consider within your power to give the CL?
I consider more mundane non-antag objectives to be within the preview of the fax responder. So if giving the CL objectives, I would do things such as requesting they get paperwork signed or statements from survivors or other members of the crew. The more normal and mundane the better, as it tends to be a bit more realistic and on pace for the role.
If playing Press Responder, what objectives do you consider within your power to give the CC?
I consider any non-antag objective within realism to be feasible and on the table so long as it doesn’t interfere with any factions or with the on-going round or deviate from their regular duties. So things such as requesting they get photos of ‘X’ part of the ship for a documentary that’s being made or requesting that they interview ‘x’ role or person.
