Here are two changes that should be done asap to make the two larva burst more bearable for marines.
Survivors and smallhosts should only give one larva per cap. This would be a fix to prevent marines getting steamrolled because xenos found the smallhosts and capped survivors. Survivors shouldn’t decide the round outcome. New players rolling survivor shouldn’t cause marines to evacuate in 20 minutes. Round 28242 was a prime example, nearly 40 xenos awaited marines groundside, when there was around 40 marines as well. Let me remind you, the game was balanced for grounside marines to outnumber xenos by like 2 or 3 times. Five survivors and two smallhosts net 14 larva under the new change, which can increase a hive from 26 xenos to 40 xenos, which I find to be incredibly unfair for marine players. Marines shouldn’t suffer so heavily because a few new players wanted to try survivor.
Give foxtrot 10 marines per purchase instead of 5. Easy. If xenos can rejoin a lot easier thanks to burst buffs, then let marines be able to rejoin easier as well. As it stands, there really is no way for marines to be able to play the game again if they die, with foxtrot being the only way. And foxtrot is an expensive tier 3 intel purchase that nets only 5 per purchase. If xenos can rejoin easier thanks to double burst, then marine players deserve to be able to rejoin easier as well. Buff foxtrot by adding 10, marines should have a way to regain their numbers much like how xenos can with double burst.
I was anxious about the FOB rework at first, but I’ve gotten used to it. This change though… even I’m a xeno main and this change feels extremely unfair to marine players. I want marines to be fun to fight, not to fold in 15-30 minutes 80% of the time. I want this game to continue to be fun, okay?
Like 90% of the time I call foxtrot in no one answers and regardless Foxtrot needs both intel and time to prep. It’s likely not going to be a factor before the hour mark. I think the issues are deeper than just adding more Marines later in the round

Again I love CM13, I’m worried about marines though. I want marines and xenos to both have fun, and I feel like the pr will hurt marines a lot.
I just want xeno to be fun and I want marines to have fun as well. I don’t want xenos to win 80% of the time or more and for the round to be determined by survs.

You do have a point, but you never know. Maybe it will incentivize more to join foxtrot? I dunno, I think it would help marines overall.
I got an idea. We could have a double burst to a certain amount of xenos. So let`s say there are 10 xenos and they get double burst until their number reaches 20(example). After they reach 20 it is back to single burst.
Now the hard(?) part figure out a formula for that limit. Maybe take the total number of marines and divide by 4?
In theory this helps with an issue of new xenos dying fast/not learning AND this does not blow the number of xenos too much
