1 - Let xenos tailstab windows. It just flails in the air at this moment. Of course, Valk Prae shouldnt do anything to it, etc.
2 - Let the queen use a few more of marine equipment like:
Let Queen use the Req pit. But only to open it. Could make for some cruel RP moments.
Let the Queen use the CIC command announcement once, maybe blowing up the loudspeakers, making any subsequent Command Announcement and Ship Announcement impossible/broken/G1B3-ri#*sh.
Xeno message: “You can hear the %Queen% malice and cruelty pour into the communication system, for everyone to hear.” *Play Queen message.mp3 to Xenos
Marine message: “A horrible, powerfull, high pitched screech fills the corridors!! OH GOD ITS SO LOUD!!” *Play Queen message.mp3 to Marines
Let the Queen use the Sensor tower in a long cooldown to give a blank map update to all xenos but with marine locations like in the Almayer.
Anyone got some ideas to how the queen could interact more with the world?
I mean, we already have the ability to tell where marines are as xenos in multitudes of ways. Not only can we see through walls and have perfect night vision, we also have Xeno watch ability, queen/hive leader markings, and death notifications of sisters dying in specific locations. Sensor towers arent really necessary or needed for the hive imo.
Hey man, hijack’s huge lore a compromise as it is. Do we need more in a “MRP” game? No, not really. The justification for hijack is just the queen pressing the right buttons by accident. Kind of like the infinite monkey theorem. That don’t mean it needs to happen more
Sure, I never understood how she does it besides drooling on it and Auto doing the work by accident.
Command announcement though is…one big red button, probably.
I would also love to see:
Many xenos trying to open a door making it open faster. Or even break it.
Queen beign able to understand the marines again. So she can use the Psychic Radiance more.
Tailstabs on disarm intent aimed at the hand could have a good chance to make the marines drop or unwield what they have on the aimed hand. Smaller chance if the marine is wielding the thing he is holding. No damage to the marine though. Possible chance to make marines drop grenades.
it would be cool if xenos could do psychological warfare. Maybe *hiss’ing and *growl’ing around non command marines has a chance of making them scream or give them a scatter debuff
