So I keep having brainstorms for an upgrade to the alamo since it, barely has any seats for high pop rounds.
How does a two floor Alamo sound, same situation with lifeboats,
that has the cockpit on the upper deck with some seating (Ladder/stairs in the middle)
With a larger cargo area with better placed hardpoints?
Life boats would basically get more seats than they do right now cause, theres barely any space
An idea for sure and maybe could of been entertained back when 200+ population was normal ona weekday but now we struggle to get 180+ ona weekend so not really needed imo.
I never see all the alamo seats taken, and definitely no one laying on the floor like in the past.
Alternative solution: make under floor seats, and pilot can just “eject” them from floor by pressing button, so whole alamo will be in seats, and if not needed they can be hidden.
Anyone who can’t find a seat in time is given an EVA suit and strapped to the side of the alamo
Last marine trying to deploy on 1st drop be like:
counter point: do it deadspace style, you get launched throughout the cabin, taking huge amounts of damage, or if you get stuck on the door tile when it launches, you get cut in half
We had bigger Alamo pr but problem with it (one of) is the hangar has to be redesign to accommodate bigger Alamo.
