Using scripts isn’t cheating, it is a machine assisted speedrun.

If you use scripts to frag then it’s not really cheating is it? You’re intentionally shortening the round by fragging marines left and right, making hijack happen sooner.

This is what in the business we call “speedrun” meaning you run to speed the round up tremendously. You all seen those funny game speedrunners use scripts and shit to make an important jump in a platformer. It is only natural that the same circumstance applies in CM: this is not “unfair”, you are simply using machine assist to speedrun. Which makes it fair in my book.

We should allow scripts to be used so both marines and xenos are free to speedrun as they please, but only on the following maps: Shivas Snowball, Sorokyne Strata, Fiorina Science Annex, Whiskey Outpost, LV-522. These maps I believe hold the greatest Public enthusiasm for speedrunning.
