“Quality Control Ban. I have seen multiple reports of unacceptable toxicity towards members of the CM Staff Team, and frankly, I’m tired of it. This ban has been discussed multiple times in Management, but I have held off every time, because I really want to believe you’ll improve, but it just isn’t happening. You keep insulting people, and otherwise stirring people up. It makes the Discord an unpleasant place, and I’m unwilling to allow this to continue. You may appeal this ban in 180 days, as per policy.”

It’s been a little over a year since my previous request to be unbanned from the discord. I still have the same general uncertainty of what was stated, or whom was offended, that generated the concern. I still very much would like to know what I said that checked those boxes so as to avoid any future misunderstandings or emotional fatigue.
I dont believe I intended to insult anyone, and I understand that a lack of intent to upset someone does not discount when someone feels insulted. I am still firm that if the community members, staff, or other individuals whom were offended, insulted, or communicated with in a toxic manner approached me I would apologize for the offense.
I would like to make staff aware my intent for rejoining the discord is to be more aware of rule changes, map changes and to engage in end round conversations. I’ve had a few enjoyable rounds in the passed couple weeks and I wanted to engage in conversation with folks about it and could not. I was also catching up in OOC chat about a few rule changes, nothing significant but things that were deemed LRP and not specifically announced in server.
In the 613 days since my permament ban and the 412 days since my previous appeal I have observed the appeals on the forums, denied and approved, and I believe I am sufficiently more capable of not making a post or statement that would violate the CM TOS or cause an offense to other community members.
Should I be unbanned, my involvement and conversations within the discord will be more tact and understanding of how the staff, players, and other members of the community would perceive an opinion, response, or comment. I’m aware that my opinion is highly unlikely to change anyone’s mind on the internet, and i will avoid any conversations that have the potential to upset or insult someone.
As I’ve expressed prior, I appreciate that I’ve been able to continue to play in game. If any other questions or comments are requested please don’t hesitate to ask.
