Description of the incident:

Easy incident: Predator was killed in the round, his body and other stuff was taked to the Alamo to get onboard. His body and some stuff was taked, Hunting Rack and Armor left behind, so I took it inside the DS cabin. Seems like not that big of a problem, but one Admin send me PM because it’s ‘violating’ of Metagaming rule, as Pred can’t get inside. He asked me to toss it out - I did it, after that I asked questions.

I don’t have problem with cabin door being ‘understructable’, because it is. But I asked, why Pred can’t get someone ID to get inside. Just for you all to know, we’re, as keepers of their stuff, are dishonorable preys, quote ‘Shipside gear carriers and those actively keeping you from retrieving it are dishonorable prey.’

And admin told me, that Pred can’t kill someone to get their ID just to get inside the cabin. Okay, no problem, maybe it’s still not against the Honor Code, but admin said so. But I asked another question - ‘Pred have enough skills to take someone ID without killing him, or take ID from the dead body, why won’t they do that?’. And admin didn’t even tryed to answer that question. I asked it at least twice, nothing, just his last ‘Read rules, and for personal clarification the Yautja Honor Code’.

Still no answer to my question, and after my ticket with ‘Trial moment’, because admin wasn’t even tryed to answer, closed the ticket without letting me said a thing more, and overhaul ignored my words, one mod Cark jumped inside with his ‘Rule 0.2 - 1 month’. Excuse, I know admins are volunteers, but I asked question related to his ticket - ‘Why pred can’t use other person ID, even without killing?’ and was ignored with ticket closed.

And another thing, I know it’s a problem to get inside DS cabin (can’t break in, but by the admin word, can’t use the ID either). But what about Honor Code and yautja trying to do gear recovering at FOB, cuz we were at FOB, when first Yautja tryed to get inside.

’Gear recovery in the FOB/hive is forbidden.’

this is a staff report, not a whitelist report. If your problem was the actions of a WL player then I suggest you report them.

Sorry, will keep that in mind! That’s mostly about Luscao, who were asking about why Hunting Rack (and only that) were inside cabin, but were okay with Yautja doing FOB recovery

Staff are not allowed to take action against WL players, unless those actions breach server rules. Since the pred by your account, was breaking HC rules, and not server rules - Luscao could not take any actions against them, similar goes for Synth and CO. Staff are only able to take action against server rule breaches, not WL rules - WL councils are the ones who take action against WL players, when they breach guidelines.

Sorry, I know it’s a bit off top from the theme of this topic, but if Yautja killing marine none-stop just because he wants to, is it breaching server rule (griefing or lethal force) or WL rules?

Denied.

If you had an issue with the Pred player and their actions you should have made a WL report after round end or ahelp if you believe server rules are being broken.

You were issued a note for metagaming, if you had issue with this action in game, you should have made a staff report here about the note.

Rule 0.2 Authority

If a staff member gives you an instruction or makes a ruling, do not argue with the staff member and follow the instruction/accept the ruling. You may file a staff report on the forums or take it up with their manager directly if you do not agree with the decision made after the round ends. Arguing with a staff member may lead to you being punished. Staff members are volunteers and will not tolerate toxicity or hostility during the course of their duties.

You instead, decided to make an ahelp after the tickets resolution to insult them by saying “trial moment”, this isn’t the first time you’ve been argumentative in tickets. You need to take a step back and re-evaluate situations before making in the heat decisions.
