Like the tittle says. What if after the DS launched from the colony a distress beacon opens for say like 5 marines with little equipment that spawn on the colony after being left behind when the FOB fell. Then they’d have to fight off the forsaken xenos and regroup with the survivors from pods etc.

This just seems really pointless as forsaken only spawn when marines are stranded from pod crashes or the lifeboat and scale to how many marines crash.
If you have 5 already start there once the dropship launches, you automatically get more forsaken.
If you want this? Just run and hide when the dropship launches honestly.
Personally I see no need for this at all

That could affect the round. They could find a dropship with a pilot alive inside and the pilot then takes them to Almayer. Free reinforcements, rinse & repeat.
It’d be really fucking weird for 5 marines to magically appear after a full evac and most of the hive have left lol

i like the spirit of the idea… but sadly i do not think it can work out and not have it affect the round. always remember that any thing that can get abused, will get abused.
I can sorta see an idea of either.
- Spawning random Marines and Forsaken xenos in a themed arena in a similar style to the current planet, so ghosts can do something else during hijack.
- Forcing Marines who crashland on the planet to spawn in said arena that is far more tightly mapped, to fight the forsaken, and to then just lock out anyone from being able to return to the regular planet.
Are these good ideas? Ehh.
