Asked around and different people tell me different numbers correspond to different Hives, but 2 definitely corresponds to Greenomorph.
Additional question: Are there any benefits to the other Hives? Apparently Renegade and Mutated are good.
1 is normal hive
3 and above corresponds to alpha, beta hive etc
there is no reason to do any other hive type since they’re all hostile, greenos are the only ones that can be friendly
1 Normal
2 Corrupted
3-6 Alpha, bravo, charlie, delta (in that order)
7 Mutated (acts like corrupted but with the wiki skin on it).
8 Tamed (only allied to a xenomorph handler).
Renegade are created when a hive collapses (Could be any hive) (just corrupted actually, ty RainbowStalin), and one of the xenos inside has an IFF tag thats connected to somebodys faction, they can choose to remain loyal to that faction or the hive. I have no idea what mutated is, I think that’s the xenonids? Unsure about the ciphering stuff.
