I’d argue a solid portion of XO players are good, you just don’t remember the decent XO players. Only the outstandingly bad/good. And it’s a lot easier to be outstandingly bad than outstandingly good.

IO is a thin line between permaing/capped into 10 minutes of operation or gathering 90% of the intel in the map, sadly most of the times is the first and sometimes we get godlike IOs

As a fairly experienced IO player, it often feels like complete luck. Because the main deciding factor is 1) how well are the marines doing? and 2) who’s playing xeno backliner?

IO is my most played role, I either help command get 60+ points or am dead after 15 minutes because ancient runner #33 did the most devious combo known to man on me

PO’s. There’s just no competition. They always fuck up CAS because they fire like dumbasses, launch early during FOB sieges, take 20 minutes to cycle a dropship, don’t put fuel enhancers in, when they put a fuel enhancer in it gets acided, somehow they always try to boss marines around(lol who has ever listened to a PO) plus the role just somehow… attracts griefers and LRPers.

Depends on what we’re talking about. Which role has the stupidest marines on average? Which role has the stupidest marine? Which role has the largest consequences for stupid actions? You gotta be more specific, man.

Broke: DCCs are meant to be an introductory role into DPing, giving new players a chance to dip their toes into the role and learn from DPs without being burdened with too much responsibility.
Woke: DCCs are meant to grief marines by killing hugged marines on the Alamo to “delay their burst” and hijacking the Norm to land in the FOB.

You thought medics were bad? Think again. From what I have seen shipside nurses and doctors are a special type of stupid that makes any marine dread going there as they will miss all the action by the time they get out or be left to fight for themselves with their limbs put on backwards when hijack comes
