-the alien in question is a greeno and will not betray you but friendly fire is a possibility
-the kid in question isn’t actually yours (clickbaited) but instead a WY executive heir
- they are 2 years old and capable of walking and basic word use
- the alien in question will receive a direct order from the queen to watch the kid but it will only be said once if not naturally brought up again
- the alien will only have to watch them for 1 hour but during this time a ULF shuttle will board the ship and try to take the child hostage. there will almost certainly be gun fire
Tempted to say carrier since they’re great with kids lol. But if a strike team is involved they gotta die or it’s all for nothing, so for that reason alone it’s gotta be a berserker rav to near-guarantee the deaths of the would-be kidnappers. Scythe arms aren’t great for hugs, but they are good against bad men with guns.
Hivelord. Can’t shoot at a kid if there’s ten thousand walls between you and them. Since hivelords can also use an ability to move pretty fast, there’s no reason to worry about their normally slow speed, either. They can just pick up the kid and run right off to a safer area when needed.
If Queen is an allowed option, then definetly her. Screech, neuro spit, drone building to set up traps. ULF are done for, some might even end up captured to make new greenos.
Otherwise burrower has the best chance to keep the kid safe if it can haul the little one, cause it can just burrow around indefinetly and by that time a PMC team can come and wipe out the intruders. Also traps+burrow spam to kill someone 1v1 if they split up. One shotgun and hes dead though, so safest bet is hiding around.
Really, there are two ways you can go about this. If you’re going the way of killing the boarders, you’ll likely pick a lurker or ravager. The problem is though, we don’t actually know the size of the force attacking. As well, if we’re receiving no support from other xenos other then the queen, we’re going to have no weeds to heal on. Even against a PMC sized force, a couple lucky shots will put you on the defensive real quick. You also can’t really trust a two year old to not run off on their own and get captured or die because they’re a 2 year old on a military space vessel.
The safer option, in my opinion, is to hide the child. What I suggest is to hide them in some obscure place, encase them in resin, and build as quickly as you can. The main issue I recognize with this plan is we have an unknown amount of prep time. My hope would be that if we even have 0 prep time, there’s a chance the boarders will overlook some innocuous looking thick resin walls built in some corner. If you do have some time, then you do what you do best as a hivelord and build. Make a maze, build in an area that’ll make the boarders think the child is there while they’re somewhere else. And weed, lots. In the worse case scenario, you can use your speed to relocate the child fast. If all works out, you’ll have wasted an hour of time, and have earned yourself a royal jelly of child-care.
Abomination. Pred players get all notified about it, so they all spawn in and fight with the bad guys, then suicide charge abom, while leaving kid alone (kid has to have its mouth taped, otherwise it might say that pred has pretty hair, or something like that, pred will take it as insult and will gut the kid).

if the runner starts with 0 acid, bers rav or lord for the reasons already stated
