Probably something like Tab, a less popular alternative to Coke that was kinda like their original way of making diet sodas, came in a bunch of flavors from cola to fruit just like Souto.

From the descriptions it seems like the most shitty, cheap piss that tastes like you are drinking some barely palatable laboratory leftovers from vials, but with a fruity aftertaste.
