Reason for Ban:

This was likely a false positive, I’m using wine 10.1 through the lutris flatpak. This is probably relatively unusual and the stickyban system is simply not designed to account for linux, let alone linux users using wine via flatpak which is a sandbox. Wine 10.1 is brand new, and the method outlined in the post below is the setup I’m using. This is the first time since August 2020 that TGUI has worked under linux, which is why I’ve returned as tgstation is/was my main. Upon getting this setup working, I tried to connect to CM and was presented with this message.

After the prior erroneous stickyban was lifted, I think I only played a handful of times before shelving SS13 in the hope that wine would get better, which it did very recently.

Note: Since around the time of that post, I haven’t played SS13 whatsoever as I was waiting for wine to be able to emulate TGUI’s dependencies, which is now seems capable of doing.
