A group of Marines suddenly rush up and start shooting you. How do you respond?
In most situations, I would engage them immediately. If I was situationally compromised, i.e. fighting within view of the FOB without good reason (which I would attempt not to be prior), I would disengage and attempt to fight them later when they were not in a critical area. Furthermore, I would most likely not engage if the group included important roles such as the CO, XO, or other generally non-combat, critical roles.
Another Yautja hunted and killed a target you had marked. What do you do?
In line with my aggressive and violent Yautja character, I would most likely challenge them to an honor duel to make up for my lost prey despite their reasoning, though I would still ask to ensure no breach of the honor code took place.
Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?
During both of the past two applications I submitted, I received my only two notes for rule 2 in the past nearly a year I’ve been playing. Both of these notes were a learning opportunity for me, as I had come back to the game with the knowledge that I had to control my emotions OOC but never having reached the exact same conclusion IC. For both notes, I let emotion impact my RP judgement, which was a mistake. From these experiences I have learned to control myself better. Furthermore, I let these experiences and my changes made from them to try to show that I will never fail to roleplay in such a way while representing the Predator whitelist.
I’m sorry to the council, my friends, and everyone who’s time I wasted by these mistakes and ask you to give me one more chance to demonstrate not only that I am a good player and roleplayer but also that I have changed since the notes I have received.
well i think he has put a lot of effort into his applications since he has about 3 of them now and he seems to know a lot about yautja hunters PLUS hes decent at rp
The Hive has won, and the Queen is by herself moving to the LZ when she decides to attack you. What do you do?
You are in the northern nexus on LV. You are fighting one lone marine who you engaged first, and then, all of a sudden, the ENTIRE marine front comes collapsing onto you, with the queen immediately on its trail with her hive. South is blocked off and being fired from, and your prey is being captured by the hive from the north, with the Alien carrying them being a dozen seconds away from tunneling, the tunnel still close to/on the front. What do you do?
Your hunting trap catches a warrior, and the Alien de-evolves to larva. What do you do?
Given the scenario, although I would be well within my rights to fight back and kill the Queen, I would most likely opt to disengage from the Queen entirely as if I were to kill her it would significantly delay the round or require admin intervention to start hijack in a reasonable amount of time.
In such a situation my number one priority would be to disengage. There is nothing I can feasibly do to ensure the welfare of my prey without potentially routing the hive and significantly impacting the round. Given that, I would try my best to cloak and drag my prey away (minimizing interruption) following a successful disengagement, assuming that they aren’t totally surrounded by the hive.
The warrior is clearly trying to meta the honor code by changing to an unhuntable/unworthy caste, furthermore compounded by such an LRP action. I would kill the larva and ensure that it cannot be refunded to the hive.
First of all, all of your answers are okay. Just know that you can fight the queen if she engages you first and you can also kill her.
Now, I would like to elaborate on a few things:
Your conduct has shown little to no improvement. You still freak out about small things that don’t matter. You still freak out in d-chat especially and you don’t seem to get over it that quickly at all. These are the only logs I had at hand, but we’ve been watching you.
You tried to get a whitelist holder in trouble over something they didn’t do wrong. The second question I gave you was formulated in such a way that your answer would tell us whether you just didn’t read the honor code or if you were just trying to push a report in bad faith. It was the latter.
You tried to be buddy-buddy with council, me especially, just as you declared your intent to apply/your application was up - all in a very unsubtle way. We are not stupid, most times. If you want to social engineer, please plan further ahead. Or even better, try to impress us by showing you’d be a good fit for the role, as is expected.
You negatively reacted on another applicant’s page. A proper applicant, might I say, unlike you.
Now, I’m telling you all this in hopes you’ll somehow change, but it feels like you’re a long way from the whitelist, or any, to be honest. You getting your like-minded friends to run to your application to support it was also not in very good taste and we noticed it, as we did with their applications.
Application denied. You may reapply in 30 days, but I recommend you take way, way longer to do so.
