Howdy howdy my fellow active forum users, let us discuss a very serious topic today. CM has been slowly draining my brainpower for about, give or take three years now and I can’t help but ask myself a very simple question. What is the next role I should main? Now this is a question I feel many people ask themselves once they get in their 70 hours of some slop role like HC fax responder and such. All we need is a role with no problems.
What if I told you we have the perfect role for such a venture, known by the humble name of the WORKING JOE! The saying is as true as time is old “You always know a Working Joe” and my only wish before the black mold infestation in my brain manages to turn me into a vegetable is to play the humble WJ. However the EVIL staff have put a road block in front out our path, we either have to put in time and effort for a “synth” Whitelist which is valuable time wasted that we could use on acid goop posts or a CO WL (both of which have about the same substance). OR we can sell our soul to the staff managers and work 40 hour a week shifts on moderator, good luck fitting in any actual gameplay with that.
However, after months of dedicated meditation and pondering I have come up with a solution so simple and so perfect it will leave even a neverplayer in awe. A WORKING JOE WHITELIST! This will work as any other WL, you apply on the forums and anywhere from a month to two years later it will get reviewed. You must simply list out all of your reasons for wanting to play WJ, and also write a 8 page story on your WJ (I call Joe-5827 don’t even think about taking him). By the way this is a completely SERIOUS POST, ignore the acid goop marker I think some evil xeno-agent put it there.
Some people occasionally wants it oddly, me included. IIRC a staff said that no one wants to watch over the Whitelist, and then one or a few people volunteered to watch over the Whitelist.
A WJ WL would be hype, I think a considerable portion of people are willingly to watch over it as well yeah. Like I would be willing to help with that if it came to any fruition.
I kinda agree to tie it to any WL honestly. Every WL is expected you to behave/ RP, hold the rules, don’t greif etcetera.
I heard rumours if someone did something for free we would have planetside WJ. So much idle work you could do there. I would even make my Joe-5827-beta wl happend
I have specifically requested to be put in a box for hours doing nothing but watching comms for somebody to ask me to launch the dropship and listen to/half watch YouTube on PvE, cleaning the Almayer while listening to a podcast and occasionally getting to do a silly WJ thing really isn’t universally boring.
