I realise that English may not be your first language, but it seems that you have put no effort into this appeal.
What rules did you break, why did you do it and why do we have rules against said actions in the first place.
Why should we let you back into the server? Before your permanent ban you were noted for the same behavior a week before. You have not shown improvement from warnings before, why should we believe that unbanning you will change that behavior previously shown?
You are right, English is not my first language. I use the deepl translator. In the game itself, I don’t play important or sociable roles so as not to disturb the other players.
What rules did you break: I broke rule 6: metagaming(Used the information I got from being a ghost) and probably the “don’t be an asshole” rule, although I didn’t find such a thing on wikipedia. Why did you do it: I did this because I couldn’t help myself when I saw Alexei Ramius (if I remember the name correctly) was a CLF survivor , because of that after the Marines arrived he left the barricade, other survivors and hid in the dark to ambush them. Which made him very vulnerable. A little later I apologized to Alexei and he forgave me, even though he didn’t know I had a ban. Why do we have rules: Such rules are there to keep the game fair and give equal rights to get game emotions and enjoyment to everyone
Why should we let you back: I’ve missed my in-game friends and would love to see them again, and I’ll also try to keep you guys happy with new funny videos on the game. Why should we believe that unbanning you will change that behavior previously shown: I just forgot I had a warning for playing lesser drone, otherwise I wouldn’t have repeated the same thing knowing it would guarantee a ban. I have no way to change your mind, I can only promise that it won’t happen again.
After reviewing this case, I will be accepting your appeal. However, I am accepting it on a conditional basis, as a probation, as explained below.
You have a long history of playing on CM, however I also note that you have an equally long history of notes and bans on this server, that stretch back a decade. The recent metagame ban was your most egregious ban, and you have served out the minimum ban-length for it. Your second reply in this thread has convinced me you, seemingly, genuinelly understand the rational for your initial ban, your acceptance of it, and your wish to return to the server.
Thus, while I am accepting your appeal, you will be on probation.
The terms of your probation are as follows: For the duration of SIX months following your unban, if you are found to break any server rule that would result in a three hour ban, or longer, your permanent ban will be in-instated. Actions such as being hit with a EORG ban will not see you permanently banned.
The current date is, by GMT Time, Friday, 29 November, 2024. Thus, your probation will expire on Wednesday, May 28, 2025
I would highly suggest you review our rules page extensively before returning to the server. CM-SS13 Rules
