Same, I’m so fucking bad at seeing invisible mobs
Motion detector is my only saviour
On xeno I get surprise assfucked by scunt half the time

I used to be a full contrast flashbang user. At one point i found out a game is not worth it. So as long a scout is standing still you are safe from me. I have honestly stopped caring. But if you move i will notice you very fast in open areas if the terrain changes. Crawling scout is my new nemesis honestly. The slower you move, the harder it is to detect you.
…this is bugging me, do they actually both havd a clown? Cant see it in the balls.
Idk what you all are on about. It’s really easy to see cloaked beings with proper background like behind walls or open one color tiles. I don’t even need an MD to see them over the right tile.
Depends on the cloaked being. Lurkers are twice as visable as preds/scouts.
Nah I can see scout and sniper really well through walls as a bug. It’s especially easy when they move around. Idk what’s different for me.
Yes, although at this point the image has begun to suffer from compression so it’s kinda begun to melt into the ball pit like it’s a decomposing body of pixels.
Thank you for clarifying that. I did not know. That actually makes a lot of sense.
Just give all xenos mesons and the problem is solved while they also get a minor buff.
It’s really dependent on the floor for me. Like on weeds seeing scout is really hard.
But in bright sand on the dry maps, it’s easier. Though I still may miss a scout if I have something higher in focus like surviving after an encounter with marines.
wait do people actually not just have their monitor set to max brightness at all times
Probably your monitor or something
you can see its right leg on the pitball picture slightly.
I’d rather have my eyes intact then find the scout.
wow the more you know!
Ermm, I actually like my monitor on max brightness, stretched resolution, and set to negative because it looks better!
I agree with this completely. I actually have my screen set at a weird coloration and incredibly dim because I get migraines really easily, so it’s really hard for me to spot anything invisible unless it’s right on top of me or moving quick. I don’t want to have to give myself a headache in order to live through a round!
Some sort of setting that equalized it across all monitors would be really nice, but I have no idea if that’s even feasible
xenos see scouts if you are looking for them, or catch them moving. same as with lurker on the other end.
If you want the end all be all tip for lurker and scout, dont fight the ones that want to fight you.
