Why would you like to join the CM-SS13 staff team?

After taking a bit of a break from CM, I have come back and realized that I want to be able to help the community. I know that previously, people have disliked the things I have done, and i know why. Now, I want to be able to make the community a better place.

What makes you a great addition to Staff? (Experienced Tabletop DM, Aliens Lore Buff, Super Organized, etc.?)

I have experience moderating in other communities, and I believe that I can bring both fun events and new ideas to the moderation team.

In your opinion, what is the most important quality of a CM-SS13 staff member?

I personally think that it is immensely important to be strict, but at the same time needing to be personable. Having a moderator that believes they are ‘above’ the playerbase is detrimental. Further, they need to be easy to communicate with, and open to ideas from the community.

Anything else you want to add?

I know there is a sizeable group of people that dislike me, and I am fine with that. But I do not want my past grievances to deter people from me. I want to be able to help the community after having done wrong before.

You’ve only been back for around three days, so most people don’t really know if you’ve improved in your behavior, i recommend withdrawing and playing for like a month or two so that people can genuinely see that you’ve improved.

I haven’t seen anything that has changed about you in the last few months. As Blue-Lou said, I have no idea if you’ve changed or not.

Are any of these experiences in SS13? Could you please elaborate?

You can do this without being staff, why are you going for staff as your first option if you don’t mind me asking?

They are not with SS13. I have a good friend who streams. I moderate for them on Twitch and Discord. They get a consistent 50-ish viewers. So I have experience from that.

You can do this without being staff, why are you going for staff as your first option if you don’t mind me asking?

I want to be able to host events, and as well as assist with both the discord and in-game moderation needs.
