Why would you like to join the CM-SS13 staff team?
The reason I’d love to join the CM-SS13 staff team is simply because it is my favorite SS13 server and has been ever since I first played it. Been with the community for quite a long while now, actively engaging with the community and enjoying the colonial marines aesthetic likewise. I’ve been interested in applying for moderator for quite some time although made the decision to wait until I could be certain it is what I wanted to do. The team as it stands right now seems quite strong, and I’d love to be an extra hand to reinforce it just that much more!
What makes you a great addition to Staff? (Experienced Tabletop DM, Aliens Lore Buff, Super Organized, etc.?)
The additions I believe make me most fit for the role would include quite a few boons that I find about myself, but to name a few: My problem solving skills are exceptional when it comes to situations that I am passionate about, my overall drive to see things completed if they are important to myself or others, and compassion/empathy for everyone involved in shared spaces. Despite not being the most extroverted of people, I do tend to put myself in others’ shoes whilst looking at things from every perspective, and I find it is a perfect quirk to have when helping others with problems they have. On a final note, I love debating and learning new things, so I find myself unbiased when it comes to disagreements!
In your opinion, what is the most important quality of a CM-SS13 staff member?
I’d imagine the most important quality of any CM-SS13 staff member is to be calm, cool, collected and know deep down that this brilliant 2D spessman game is just, well, a game. We all have our stressors in day to day life and knowing how to manage it is absolutely crucial. We can be critical of ourselves, of others, or the game itself, but they and perhaps I should strive to remain impartial and enforce the rules as fairly as we can/ensure the experience is fun for all parties, no matter who is behind the other screen(s).

Just in case any admins/otherwise are concerned about my recent activity, I took a lengthy break from the server to avoid burnout- However! I was active in the Discord during this time, checking in every couple days and even engaging in conversations semi-frequently. Like an injured xeno resting on weeds, my interest regenerated.
