I was on the top of the food chain, I roll spec I check which squad Im in and rush to get sadar kit before my rivals and PB with AP rockets every t3 i saw. but since some update or something, I have high suspicion it was the byond update from version 515 to beta 516, every fucking time I wake up from cryosleep I suffer up to 5 seconds of glaucoma, bumping into walls and tables like a headless chicken, slipping on my tears as I feel the sadar kit slipping thru my hands. now they laugh at me as I am forced to feed of scraps - either picking snooze sniper, free cap pyro or FF major GL. so like what the fuck - am I the only one cursed with this shit, or did 516 in fact break ss13 spawning in code and this is a know bug?

Another round lost for Marines because Aalto something refuses to play CO, instead opting to play QM Squad Lead in order to appeal to authority, so his supreme whitelist gets accepted. Spoiler Alert Spypig23(I forgot aalto ckey), they don’t want a CO who doesn’t roleplay. So get back on CO and start roleplaying.

he objectively worse spec in the game, by a longshot, are the sniper specs. Both AMR and base sniper.
Yes, this includes scout being a menace against backliners with the stun to death combo.
Why?
Well, it’s because of how unengaging and uninteractive the sniper specs are as a whole.
At least with pyro and sadar, they HAVE to get close to you to land in some good shots. Pyro takes skill in terms of positioning your fire well, and sadar you have to shoot ap at the perfect time and position to get that juicy hit. Both sadar and pyro are strong AND engaging, and have counterplay. Making them good specs.
But the sniper specs? They take NO skill. There is NO risk to choosing this spec. Want to know why? They can easily camp way in the back due to iff and being able to deal damage from tremendous ranges. They are nearly COMPLETELY safe, as they are far in the back.
The only “counters” are lurkers, runners, and boilers, but they’d have to somehow attack the sniper undetected by the ball of 50 marines. Yeah, good luck. You can argue boiler is a counter, but snipers often position far enough for boilers to not even be able to hit them. Every other xeno, which is mostly designed for cqc, can do NOTHING to a sniper spec whatsoever.
They can target any tier 3 like a crusher or ravager with iff and a lot of damage, but ALSO they can STUN, SLOW YOU DOWN, OR BURN YOU. And you can’t do ANYTHING about that. You are forced to just sit there and cope and be forced to retreat way earlier when trying to even attack marines.
Such an unengaging and unfun spec. Both the sniper specs are GARBAGE.

Like very cool spec and all, however!
THE FUCKER KEEPS FFING THE WHOLE FRONT, EVEN DEMO CANT DO THAT CONSITANTLY. THE DAY THIS SHIT ASS CENTRAL FF SPEC GOT ADDED , ALL WE GOT AS MARINES IN RETURN WAS MORE FF! Fucking xenodevs are cackling their ass off! next time I see somebody pick SHARP spec I’m going to PB him, this will save agruably more marine lives then when he walks around bumbling about shooting DARTS up my ass!

I fucking hate this new “Bruiser” strain they added. Like what do you mean all my splints are fucking obliterated with just one ability? Its so stupid, I can be at full health with a few splints in an enclosed area, and still get my shit kicked in by a bruiser, who then flings then instantly kills me. Its bullshit, and don’t get me started on the lifesteal their instant kill ability, I can have a bastard near crit but then they decide to take cover next to John Marine’s dying body, then they fucking brutalize him man, getting health back. What the hell.

Event idea: let the CO lay eggs. so basically the CO stays in a dark room off the side of CIC and spends their round laying eggs to make more marines. this is balanced by xenos getting buffed. basically a dark and sweaty room where the CO is alone (or with SO’s cheering them on and encouraging them) laying marine eggs

Once again my fellow United Americans, our 1984 mod team strikes down creativity and hope within our world. I hoped on CM today hopeful and joyful to have a wonderful CM day by fragging out an such. It took a turn however, while front lining as combat correspondent I was admin pinged. This came right after I had saved a Marines life by PBing a lurker into oblivion three times. What was in the ping you may ask yourself, shaken to the core. Well it was a short message by one of the most evil peoples to ever walk on this planet, a CM mod team member that goes by the elusive title of “stalkerino” and they without hesitation stained my perfect and spotless record with a note for “Rule 2 roleplay standard” which was completely out of the blue. Sun Tzu once said any man within my army shall first serve their duties then second serve the role of a rifleman. I followed in Sun’s footsteps and took two photos (which is more than what most correspondents take in a year) before moving to the front to assist my brother and sisters in arms. I will not go down easy CM mod team, I will not go gently into that goodnight like the others.

More like fucking mid update. i fucking hate this ‘mid level’ layer of the Almayer. its gonna take another 10 minutes for the poor Maint Tech with his VP78 searching for Xerxes Xeno hiding in maints, who will two tap tackle him. Its bullshit. Not to mention that its literally raining men and women out here, Im chilling outside medical, when all of a sudden, theres a marine who fucking lands on his face breaking his body because he got force shoved off the catwalk.
