Ive posted this idea that got approved a year later :
I think it is awesome and finaly solved the issues I pointed out. Squad Leaders can now use their trackers to track other SLs, SOs, XO and CO.
What I’m suggesting now is: Please give pointers to Officers too. I play SO a lot and I like to stand near and protect the Captain or Major. Since SOs don’t have a way to track them most times I lose sight of those I want to protect. This is mainly shipside during Hijack.
Groundside is even worse though. I might drop late in the round and get lost trying to find the front that is moving a lot, since I dont have a tracker. Or lose sight of an Officer I went to escort, you get the Idea.
TL;DR Give officers the same tracker the Squad Lead has.
