Description of the incident:

I was ghosting during the end of the round and eventually came to watch Grayson Hunt, who was at the time fishing right outside the FOB and nothing else as a Beach Bum Survivor. This eventually attracted the attention of several xeno players who at the time were RPing before hijack and one predator player who stood about 5 tiles near them on some catwalks north of them. They stood motionless for about 30 seconds before finally calling on the radio for anothe player to come over, saying something along the lines of “Come here and watch me kill this fool.”

Shortly after the second predator comes and they once again stand on the catwalk watching, talking to themselves. Eventually one of the players runs down and steals the fishing rod from the Beach Bum, throws it away and that is that for a couple minutes. Once xenos start actually funnelling towards the DS to hijack, the preds once again stand near the Dropship within vision range and watch uncloaked for another minute, again uncloaked and idle until directly attacked by a Sentinel and a Defender at which point they only briefly retaliated. (one sentinel was actually grabbed off the DS at a later point whilst it was taking off)

DS eventually takes off and pred players move to the other LZ, finding a Synth there, they exchange some comments until a marine crashes nearby, they still do not cloak at this point and mostly stare at the Marine from several tiles away while they enter the Dropship where they actually start exchanging comments with the Synth again.

All this to say I believe this is a flagrant LRP Violation and Direct Violation of the Honor Code, which states “Yautja standing around prey uncloaked and not interacting with said prey should remove themselves from sight.”. Predator players just observing as a funny alien from a couple tiles away doing almost if not nothing to contribute to RP while in full view of SEVERAL xeno players trying to have fun with a dude doing a fishing gimmick, ruins any sense of immersion for people involved, it is a bad look for the Whitelist and should not be allowed.

Evidence:

N/A, did not get any sadly

LRP, xenos aren’t allowed to be friendly. This is why I started harassing them, throwing their fishing pole away and smashing the runner into cades.

CM-SS13 Rules This might help you.

Yeah, I was about to kill them before the xenos dragged them away. They were being LRP thus I’m in my full right to end them.

We were in the shadows, out of the human’s sight. And if even if we weren’t, they were lamb for the slaughter. The secrecy of Yautja wouldn’t be threatened due to their imminent death from either me or the xenomorphs.

Humans should not be fishing butt naked in front of xenomorphs and chilling, and xenomorphs shouldn’t be being friendly. It is a direct violation of rule 2, roleplay standards and multiple rule clarifications have backed that up.

Hello.

None of the actions commited by the predators you described would be considered as a HC breach.

To clear things up, the clause of the HC you’re referring to was implemented because lots of whitelistees used to just stand completely still near the frontlines for long periods of time, uncloaked, watching the fight through their mask zoom, while marines/xenos would be literally near them, build heal etc.

Me and the rest of the council believe that “spirit of the law” wouldn’t apply in this case, thus your report is denied.
