Your appeal:
I didn’t realize they were all afk and I was expecting them to get back on the dropship, I also didn’t realize you could be killed during take off, I realize these things now and won’t push other xenos off the dropship.
I went back through the PMs, and after seeing this appeal I think I misunderstood what you were saying during our discussion. I will post the logs below so the admin reviewing the appeal can see:
PM Logs
Biolock->HomelessManDan: Why did you smite your own xeno sisters?
HomelessManDan->Biolock: I did?
Biolock->HomelessManDan: I’m getting reports that you pushed three different defenders off the Alamo.
HomelessManDan->Biolock: I did yes but I didn’t realize they got smited
Biolock->HomelessManDan: What do you think happened to them?
HomelessManDan->Biolock: I thought they would get back onboard
Biolock->HomelessManDan: You’ve played this game for over 700 hours and you expect me to believe you didn’t know they’d die when you pushed them off the Alamo?
HomelessManDan->Biolock: No i thought you became forsaken if you get left behind
Biolock->HomelessManDan: So which is it? Do they get left behind as forsaken, or do they get back on the Alamo?
PM: Biolock->HomelessManDan: Save your typing for the appeal actually. You’re being given a 3-hour ban and a xenomorph job ban.
Biolock has edited homelessmandan’s Admin notes: Rule 4: No Griefing | As a xenomorph, shoved three different xenos off the hijacked Alamo, leading to their death.
During the PMs I honestly thought you were lying to me: trying to tell me that you thought the defenders would be able to get back on the Alamo after it had already taken off. However this appeal suggests what you really meant was that you thought the players would walk back on before liftoff. I am not certain I would have taken the same actions (and certainly wouldn’t have been as curt) had I been fully aware of your intentions behind it. I thought you griefed your team, and were lying about why you did it/ what you thought would happen.
Regardless of the nuances, this is the totality of the situation as I know it.
As biolock mentioned, seeing as your true intention wasn’t to take xeno players out of the game, I still count this as severe griefing, because at the time you were under the assumption that xenos become forsaken upon being left behind, which is essentially taking them out of the round anyways.
However, as your note history is relatively okay, I’ll be accepting your appeal.
