Description of the incident:
I was a lurker on LV, I was experiencing issues with my game so I decided to reboot my game. It was before 00:30, the fog was still up and at that point it was just waiting anyway. I didn’t warn anyone because I thought it wouldn’t take long anyway. When I rejoined, I found myself de-evolved to runner. Queen claimed she waited for 30 seconds before de-evolving me, I must point out that simply rejoining the server takes at least 30 seconds (usually more due to lags) if you don’t have byond premium. This was the second time this queen de-evolved me under similar circumstances. Last time I asked the player to stop de-evolving me, but clearly it didn’t work.
Now for the rules, I am not sure what rule applies here. Rules state that Queen is allowed to de-evolve xenos if she wants a specific caste. I don’t think that was the case. Furthermore, I am using this staff report as a precedent: TheNewOrleans - Staff Report: Enforcement Action Taken - Lagomorphica in which the queen player got noted for de-evolving an AFK warrior after waiting for about a minute.
I also need to mention that I couldn’t continue to play the game after this, because of this bug: De-evolving while offline breaks your caste · Issue #10522 · cmss13-devs/cmss13 · GitHub and no admins online to help me with the bug. I am not holding this against the player, because they are not supposed to be aware of all the bugs in the game, but providing some context of why I was standing still after the de-evolve.
