Description of the incident:

First of all I will start by saying this is a staff report simply targeting the note itself, Lagomorphica, in my experience, has always been an excellent admin and their attitude is always great.

With that said, I was noted as Queen, for the first time in ~80 hours for the following reason:
The note is : Rule 2 - Roleplay - Note: Player, as Queen, de-evolved a crusher 2 minutes after marines landed with 10 seconds of warning due to the player being AFK and not responding. Player de-evolved them to Defender due to this. Player was informed to give people more opportunity to react and not to immediately de-evolve people for being AFK for such a short length of time.

The only rule regarding Queen de-evolving reads:
The Queen can de-evolve someone if they want to add a certain caste, however, it must make sense in character - only having one type of T3 would not fulfil this criteria.

In this case, what I did is in line with the spirit of this rule. I de-evolved a T3 who was sleeping while marines were pushing us in. It matters little that it was 2 minutes after drop, everyone here is aware that marine pushes can be incredibly fast-paced and dynamic, and it was the case here, we were losing ground already.

As for the “10 seconds” mentioned in the note, they are not correct, and I’d like to establish a timeline that is backed by the video I am posting below.
0s - I place my eye on KV. He is not near the front, so he’s been sleeping for at least a solid bit. I set him as leader to see if he’d wake up.
4s - I say “kv in hivemind”
6s - I say “what you up to”
8s - I point at him
18s - JQ complains in hivemind about asleep T3s.
19s - GGG also talks about KV being asleep.
20s - I put up an announcement saying “KV wake up”
30s - I devolve KV from Crusher to Warrior
42s - I put up another announcement, saying KV was devolved and to get the T3 filled
46s - I open the Hive Status and realize all T2 are also full (cannot be seen since I have it on my second screen, but you can see my mouse travel out)
50s - I devolve KV from Warrior to Defender.
~70s - KV returns

So it is clear that the “10s” described are not true (not saying it was malicious, I am sure logs are confusing and chaotic for admins to check in game), it was triple that, 30 seconds for the first devolve, 50 seconds for the second devolve.

Is 30 seconds enough to devolve a T3 while marines are pushing us in and we have all slots full? Then is it 60 seconds? Because she was away for more than 60 seconds. If not, is it 2 minutes? Is everyone aware here of how long 2 minutes can be in Colonial Marines?

Devolving is not banish, devolving is a tool that has guidelines that permit its use for mechanical improvement of the hive, and that’s what we were doing here. I don’t believe I deserve a note here. Sure it was unfortunate, but not just for KV, also for me to have to lose a Prime T3.

I believe this note to be incorrect both in its concept (noting a queen for devolving in a non-malicious manner) and in its facts (says KV was demoted with a 10 second warning, but it was triple that amount), and I hope it can be removed from my record.

Thanks for your time, and like I said, generally Lago is a great admin, we just happen to disagree here.

I don’t see the neccessity to de-evolve someone who was AFK for one-two minutes max.

Staff Report is denied, Lagomorphica handled the ticket correctly.
