Have you read the role guidelines and expectations?
Yes.
Why do you wish to become a Fax Responder?
For Fax Responder is an interesting tool to showcase the universe beyond the USS Almayer and introduce new aspects of roleplay for the roles and players seeking another experience with certain factions. I am able to extend my playtime to suit the interaction of anyone who at the moment on the round could get important material within roleplay, sending Faxes to the officers of the Almayer to give them the feeling of a more open universe instead of just the ongoing ground operation. I would like to be the link of this aspect of roleplay and give the others the immersion they deserve as to my best of capabilities.
What do you consider the purpose of this role?
Fax Responder as i see is the bridge to the universe outside of the Almayer, even more for survivors who have in their minds other plans instead of just talking with the Corporate Liaison aboard the vessel. While implementing a solid use for the fax machine and showing a more detailed and professional approach to those who seek an extended roleplay with their superiors, be it the W-Y, HC, Provost, et cetera. Furthermore it is totally meant for quality roleplay, focusing on important topics and not trivial situations who are on going at the ground or aboard the vessel, mainly acting on faxes who are sent to the Communications Officer responsible for his faction or sector.
First of all i would ask him the reason, until i can understand the full intent on why he decided to ask for a full out Death Squad.
If i somehow find it reasonable i would ahelp to keep it in check with the staffers on the current round, telling the Liaison the situation is currently being handled by the Company Directors and i will fax him shortly after.
For me to write a full out detailed response i would need a background for such.
Same question I asked the others. Per the rules of the WL, you may only call the Almayer under EXCEPTIONAL circumstances What would you define that as?
Let us say i am currently the High Command Communications Officer:
I am monitoring the USS Almayer, cycling from lower to upper within the cameras of the ship, i spot one individual with a non-issued standard firearm for the Colonial Marines and this same individual is wearing what it is the uniform of a CLF insurgent, currently walking among the hallways and breaking lights.
At the same instance i would ahelp and notify that i am calling the Combat Information Center using the HC Fax Responder room to alert the current head of the ship and operation of an immediate threat to the ship and crew, i would make a short and direct call, pointing within the call itself that such style of communication can be risky due to not being a “secure” method to inform others of such extreme situation, i would only alert them of the Insurgent aboard and not give any further information (Location, gear, name, etc.)
After the situation unfolded i would proceed with faxes and continue to work around the scenario who was created with the call and my involvement on it.
I would keep these calls only for an immediate threat to the ship and the crew aboard it, if the same were to happen with any Boarders/Xenomorph i would proceed with the same course of action. I would call them ONCE and inform them of the danger, if they are already aware of those threats i would not call them.
I’m going to accept this, but my only issue is here.
If a Corporate Liaison faxes you asking for a death squad your answer should be “a what?”. There are no death squads. Never acknowledge their existence. Swap out death squad with PMCs and this is a perfect answer.
