How familiar are you with command positions?
Very well, im understanding command position as key communication centre between squads that allows effective usage of men power and brings the victory on whole operation, im understanding importance of every staff member on each positions (medical, req, MP, Auxiliary Combat Support, etc.) at the start of the operation im checking the staff members on their position, and making sure in their functionality, setting aSL if there no squad leader in a team, give access to req if there no CT, give access to valuable locations if there is need in this, for benefits of operation.
The main goal of the Command member is to give instructions to every member of Almayer. They must understand orders that have being given, Command annonce has to be used only to give valuable information or orders that have to be given, ONLY IN THAT WAY, the order itself must be short, informative, and simple. I cannot give an contradictory information or orders, otherwise the results will be devastating for the operation, and trust, between marines and command, that eventually may lead to the mutiny.
For the CIC itself im understanding every console, and conducting procedure for command members, i know about alerts, OBs, lockdowns, AA-cannon, evac, tacmap usage, SO and XO positions very well.
Every word and action of CO or XO, is matters, its have political and combat affection, that cannot be underrated, XO or CO is a man that represents the whole USS Almayer and all of the actions made by him, is under his responsibility, including actions made by staff of the Almayer such as crime and failure to follow procedure.
Community is awaiting high performance results form the Commanding Officer, CO is have special rights, but the responsibility is much higher than XO, or every single member of marine, stepping on this position im understanding that i have to be the Officer, that inspire the man for heroism, represents USCM interests, and an officer that every marine dreams to be, i have to be all at once.

Why did your character decide to become the CO of a ship?
The carrier path of every man that decided to use life for serving in military is always ends up in high status. Only stubborn and worthy will get promotions and respect not only in the high command eyes but in regular marine as well.
The USS Almayer the military ship, that upholds the power of platoon and capable of give a fair fight to any treats. Just another job for a man, but in much higher status with a privilege.
The Ahmad Al Tabir was the the Officer of USS Almayer for 3 years, which is a 9 years of military service, in total since he was an Second lieutenant, that served in marine corps.
My character sees an opportunity in military service as worthy job worth worthy men, he witnessed death and the beauty of military machine, he used to believe that, fighting against the enemy across all galaxy is the one of the best ways to spend life.
How did your character attain the position of CO?
The Ahmad Al Tabir was an example of an officer that using to believe that his own job is far more important that his own life, due an his distinguished service in marine corps, he believes that victory might be achieved only when the spirit itself is ready of an battle, that`s why he attained the the CO position by an commanding countless amount of operations against an enemy of all types, including in future the xenomorph threat itself.

When do you believe it’s appropriate to pardon a prisoner?
Pardoning the prisoner is privilege with great responsibility within it, while the commanding office might pardon one or few people for operation benefits, or if their imprison is direct sabotage of operation stopping from performing essential duty of the ship.
However, the commanding officer before pardon should review the incident log from the military police and the defendant, to exclude any mistakes, unlike the appeal which is decision made by facts, the pardon is freeing the prisoner despite the crimes he made, and taking the results of past and future for yourself.
I cannot pardon Capital crime prisoner.
I will not pardon a prisoner if there is no absolute necessary in such action. (situations alike the life of other people counting on prisoner, or operation crucial benefits)

Example A
An combat technician insulting my persona during briefing, he is one of two engineers that on operation, getting DASO and Disorderly Conduct charges from military police, the marines telling me that this is the only combat technician that can assist in establishing communications, i might pardon a combat technician, if i didn’t cancel arrest before the drop. If there is next factors (One: he is only technical trained marine capable of establishing communication, if there is no FTL or SL, in his squad.) (Two: The second technician in other squads, is used to build the FOB, he is the only one technical trained marine capable in building defense) (Three he is shown his excuses to me and ready for cooperation)
Example B
Same Combat technician in same situation but with different crimes, but with Hooliganism and assault of other marine with fists. After review the story from both sides and the witnesses from the marines, i should check what happened in this situation, if i find the defendant guilty in his non-motivated actions, i will not pardon due an his discrimination against personality of other marines, if the life of the victim doesn’t depends on the situation, but in this case i might ask the offended person to take is off his charges from defendant.
When do you believe it’s appropriate to use a Battlefield Execution?
The battlefield Execution of BE in short is an permanent removal from the round by killing an marine, its an instrument like the pardon is used only in very little situations when it calls for it, When permanent killing of person is have more benefits right now than keeping his alive due to potential threat this person represents to my persona or my other marines, or other operations.
Meaning, the direct operation saboteur, the killer that we have no time to detain or his detain might cause even more troubles than his death right now and right here in my presence if he already didn’t gotten killed by his fellow marines, in this case i might finish the job by delivering 454. in skull.
Most of battlefield Executions should be likely to be done in battle on the ground or during hijack, otherwise i would like to use MP for his detain or even, if their action isn’t against my persona, in this case an attempt of murder matches with execution single approval from Commanding officer side.

Example A
A marine that is causing a damage to others by throwing a nades into groups of others causing more damage to us than the enemy would, i would warn him (depending on the situation) for repeating an action that causing marines to die, will get punished by me in a form of BE, if he continues to kill, help getting cap, or injury a marines or me, he would be Battlefield executed for being a threat to me, marines, and operation.
Example B
A marine doing similar actions on to A example but the place changed to USS Almayer or FOB, due an safe spot he is good for procedure, and detain, allowing us for doing soo, if his crimes isn’t obvious to me i would like to await crime expertise if he will be found guilty for non-motivated murder, he will be Executed in normal way. If he was doing crime in my presente with intent to murder me, or anybody else, there will be no court.
Example C
The research got openly declined their proposal to make an greenos alien, after that i had doubt if they were listen to my order, i made an search in their laboratory and found an greenos infected alien that got into larva by report from military police, the Larva should be killed, the researchers will be detained by Discretionary Detainment charge do an possible infestation threat to the USS Almayer, in this case the person is not a direct threat itself, but their action might lead to more problems, the detainment and demotion, would be an option for this example.
The battlefield Execution is very rarely used instrument that is used in one single purpose, perma removal person from round by killing their character, it should be used carefully within a double check for every possible defence for an accused person. The permanent death to this person is better than continue of his life, only when i believe that this is true, i would perform Battlefield Execution.
During battle i will give only one warning to candidate for Battlefield Execution with an direct order to stop their actions in their way, direct attacks that deal massive damage to marines or an attempt of my assassination, or essential for operation person during battle, will be BE without warning.
During my duty on ship or FOB when its safe i will more likely to detain and return to Almayer with prisoner for his detainment.
If the person not a direct threat himself or his actions doesn’t deal direct short term damage to operation. He will be more likely to get Discretionary Detainment.
