I just find other Marines that have medicine in them and steal their blood with syringes and add it to mine.

if medic:
injector pouch full of unga for combat heals, pills to treat people who are down - normal injectors are too fiddly and not really space efficient - even the syringe case is only 9 doses compared to 16 pills and adds extra clicking + you cant label them in inventory

if not a medic:
you just swallow the pill and its done, injectors have a windup so they are unusable in combat

@Pucufix account for the time it takes to inject

Pills! Always keep a pack of tramadol in my helmet whenever I’m deploying.

As a non-medic marine i prefer injectors due to their ease of use and 45u of medicine per injector. As a medic/doctor pills are a must, can’t really be bothered carrying around tons and tons of injectors to use

Edit: also their refillabilty

Injectors, unga marines refuse to be still to eat these pills so GO MY INJECTOR!

the one upside of injectors was that they were instant but then someone decided to remove that from every injector but emergency lol

the only way to make injectors good as a marine without medical skills is getting equipment you arent normally issued like syringe cases and the 7 slot injector pouch because then they are more storage efficient than pill blisters - but at this point you might as well take a 120u unga jar and use it to refill your canteen

you get a bigger dose per injection, and they are refillable

1 injector is 45u, with 15u per injection

1 pill is 7.5u I think?? so thats 30u

you just get more bang for your buck

Pills are 15u per. You get 60u of dope, but it takes a couple ticks to metabolize before you start getting the benefit. With autoinjectors you get 15u instantly.

In my opinion, pills are the way. You get 4 in a pack, can use it while moving, and it is instantly consumed on use. Once you run out there are generally perma marines nearby who you can plunder for meds.

As SL and Scout, sometimes other roles, I’ll take a lifesaver belt or medical rig and just fill it with pill packets alongside the usual medical items. More stuff I can share, longer up time for myself, I love it.

I want it that way.

Injectors because its much more simple to restock. just smack the Med vender at fob and your good. But really i mostly like the emergency injector.

Pills are better for combat use over injectors for your average marine 100%.

Buuuut… it’s a bitch to restock pills, so I take injectors instead. If pills were easy to stock, then I’d get pills every time.
