Science fun fact- by takeing the property vicous from methane and oxyginating from dex you can get fire penetrating.

Science fun fact 2- The OD effects for epi on the wiki are wrong. It in fact does way more damage then listed. It also does a large amount of liver damage.

Themyol is able to counter act getting hugged. So long as its injected the second you get hugged.

However since themoyl has no OD its best to inject it beforehand. Never tested it before with an ACId vest but if you set to where in inject when hugged it should woek.

So yeah no their is not a good chem.

  • Do you think the research rework is good?
  • How does the lysis-extraction machine works? (what properties is it really extracting per menu item?)
  • Is it possible to make doctors actually obey orders (so you can pull off ambitious plans for the department)?
  • What are the names of the dudes that are currently carrying medbay in your opinion?
  • What are the names of the dudes that are currently carrying research in your opinion?
  • What’s the ideal property levels for research explosives and fire fuels right now?
  • How do properties that are a mix of 2 or 3 unrelated properties are used? You just pop in the related properties and then when you see the freshly printed paper out of the simulator you see the composing properties magically missing and replaced by a new property?

1- Yes in many ways it is good. Only thing I dont like is the botany part. It is very hard for new and some old players to figure out how it works. Rsr has also gotten more grindey and lock in focused. So that means it leaves little time for me to mess around and explore things like weed killer nukes.

2- Well botany is my weakness but i can still help. So each plant has genes that you can extract. Things like vitality make the plant healthier so they wont die as much from mutagen. You can steal the super fast growth rate from grass and give it to other plants. But that is a basic overveiw. To be fair the only properties you need are growth speed from grass and vitality from any good plant. I suggest you read a guide as if I were to tell you in full this post would be 10 pages long. 3- no next question.

4- I dont play doctor too much. But the names are me as feild doc, tess, kaz APC smith, “boy” colon. Good at their job and RP.

5- Big names. Anna “speedster”haily, tyrone, zion barns, liam green, tylaor max graft.

6- For boom chems anything above explosive 4 is usesless. In fact it get worse due to weird code when you go above 4. As for fire the higher the better. The max is white flame and to make that simply follow this handy guide.

Take these properties from these chems.
thermite: fueling
dexalin: oxygenating
CLF3:oxidizing
methane:viscous
ethanol:flowing
viscous+oxygenating = Fire penetrating.

7- Sometimes you can combine properties. From example if you add viscous to a chem with oxygenating they will combine into fire penetrating. Another example is NST plus PST to give you’rself the abilty to talk inside peoples minds.

There is a chem you can make that extends the perma timer massively, but its so niche, costly, and marines wont even use it that researchers don’t bother (this is the case with like 5 different things research can make)

No, the utility of it is useful in theory but the way it is currently sucks due to low container limit(one vial). This is probably because when it was added, modified chems were originally based on how their metabolism rate was and editing chems before was based on that, but as changes happened ACID vest wasnt really thought about to fit the new changes.

The main issue with it is that it just doesnt work since the storage economy for it sucks, and the automated system is gimmicky at best. Pre medding is the best solution anyway and theres only one situation where it would be ideal and its with self revive stims, and even then it has some issues(xenos camping you).

Level 2-3 Explosive chem for Grenades, Claymores, Mortar Shells, and c4. Level 4 is only good for rockets only

For incendiary properties for OT explosives, its 3 OXI - 1 FUL - 3 FLW or 5 OXI - 2 FUL - 5 FLW

Former lets you reach max grenades, and claymores, latter lets you reach max rocket and mortar shells, this should leave room for Iron for shrapnel

As for flamer fuel, they work completely different with OT explosives, but generally you want a mix of OXI FLW and FUL, FLW being the least, generally you want both OXI and FLW the same level and FLW only like 2 at most. Fire pen is also really important.

Yes, sometimes they dont dissaper, its buggy, sometimes the level is a combination of all three properties level, or its 1. Theres a lot of properties that dont work together and actually lowers each others level, so something like Transformative cant have Anti Toxin because they are incompatible and cancel each other out. Can use this as an alternative to relate to not lower OD. Theres a lot of properties that can be made, most important one is BNM with CRL and NTR.

I forgot the others but vigour is how fast a plant grows and potency is for the yield and how much chem per unit are in the plants, those are the only things you need

Grass/Wheat for vigour, Chili/Lime for potency

Just want to also mention with Thymol, it sucks, if the APS level isnt high enough, it either just slows or freezes the growth, and im pretty sure Thymol just slows its progression and something most people dont know is it does damage too.

(Just so you know a bunch of Rsr mains made their own server. They are open to letting people join so they can learn Rsr. So you can ask around the main CM discord for an invite if you want to.)

I am going to assume you alreayd understand how points, contracts, chem scaning, and xeno fluid stuff works.

To make a stim you need to use the synth machine.

What the machine does it spends point to add properties to a chem that existed on a diffrent chem. So if one chem has bonemending and the other has NST. what i can do is take the NST from that one chem and add it to the bonemending chem.

To do this in game is take what we call a base. This is an easy to make chem with no negative propties that you plan to mod. Then insert that chem’s paper into the synth machine. Take a chem with a property you want and insert that too. Hit the add button and select the property you wanto t add.

Then bang you old chem now has that new proprty and best part is does not lower the OD. After each time you do this you get the option to change the chems recipie. This is either very good or every bad.

Their is a lot more stuff I could talk about. But I imagine most of it would go over you’r head. But in general hard contracts gives lots of points and properties. Do those all the time.

You should always include thanatos in your perma extender to address this problem unless your ACID vesting it with dead only. But adding Thanatos just makes it even more expensive so again its really a troll.
