Synthetic Info:
Name of the Synth Character you wish to play:
Mitch
Provide a short description of your synthetic’s backstory
Mitch is a generation-three synthetic produced by Weyland-Yutani Corporation. The primary usage of this model is being an assistant at various manual labor jobs, such as oil rigs, mining camps, greenhouses, construction facilities, and sometimes, auto-shops, as well as other examples, although he is rarely involved with operations due to risks of damage or even loss of the synthetic unit. Due to this, he is usually tasked with performing tasks that would be considered a waste of human potential, as the majority of these locations prioritize efficiency. Instead, he is posted on tasks such as administration, inventory management, finalizing and receiving supplies, and on special occasions, finance.
Describe your synth’s personality without mentioning their skills or previous professions

How would your synthetic interact with enlisted personnel, officers and civilians? How could you involve your personality into these interactions?
Mitch refers to enlisted personnel ranked below NCO ranks with a more loose and less serious tone, usually with their surname and chatting with them, enlisted personnel with the rank classified as NCO and above, he’ll refer to them by last name or rank, though still holding the energetic tone as with regular enlisted personnel. With officers, it gets serious. He refers to officers by their rank, followed with the last name, barely letting a loose tone out, depending on the situation. Civilians will be referred to by their first name, but usually he shows respect by referring to them with their last name.
His personality could be involved when nothing important is going on, for example RnR duty or remaining on a well-protected and secure area. He can realize when he needs to quit his chit chats, examples are emergencies, hostile forces engaging him, other personnel around him or the structures.
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?
My interest peaked around the time of the WL event, where I managed to sneak in a round of synthetic survivor that I enjoyed, both roleplay and gameplay wise. Some rounds of primarily WJ as well.
On the fact of why, I am confident that I can bring some RP to the rounds I can reach and play, especially since I’ll try to keep Mitch as a more social synthetic.
Yeah, this question is pretty bare bones, especially when answered by me, but my reasons are simple, to say the least.
What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?
Synthetic Character Story:
Skills:
How familiar are you in CMs support roles such as medical/engineering/requisitions/command and which of them are you more and less proficient in?
I’m most efficient on medical and engineering, knowing most of the important things from memory, like chemical mixes, repairing APCs, moving and deconstructing barricades, and so on. I am slightly less knowledgeable on requisitions, but still confident about running it alone if need be, primarily on low-midpop. Command is the least proficient, but I still understand the usage of terminals there.
What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.
1st example, frontline - Here, its more restricted, but Mitch is maintaining a less marine-populated flank, and the hive is moving on that opportunity, I’ll call it out on radio, provided there’s communications, and try to alert marines around the area to their presence. If not, I can attempt to get some of them to disengage from assaulting the barricades.
2nd example, backline - I’m moving with two Intelligence Officers, reaching sensors and restoring them. Backliners are harassing one and he’s in crit, second one decides to retreat. You can lift the critically injured IO and retreat with them, while trying to get the backliner(s) to disengage through periodic hits, while not chasing them down.
3rd example, synthvivor - A CMB deputy is being pulled away right in front of the hold, other survivors can’t reach them in time, so I try to pull them back in, careful not to move too far out and risk getting killed by the other hostiles lurking, and getting some hits in on the aggressor, attempting to force them to disengage and leave the deputy alone.
4th example, delta alert hijack - Wandering around astronavigational deck, trying to restore power for the fueling efforts, and a xenomorph decides to screw around with you, getting slashes and tail stabs in, I’ll try to disable it by chasing it down, but immediately halt when there’s a squad of about 3 marines roaming, all injured from barely escaping a Tier 3 xenomorph.
Final Info:
Have you been banned in the last month?
.
Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?
The story has been changed, and I centered Mitch to be /more/ of an assistant, instead of involving him in direct duties. The scenario in the story is a simple example of what his model could be doing. I am not making assumptions that I know anything about being a mechanic, or even having any knowledge of cars outside of the basics, as it would’ve simply been too much work and time to create a whole new story just to put him in a different environment, especially since my schedule will be tightened up at the start of the new week.
