Been a while since I made one of these. Also what are your unironic thoughts of the UPP. Personaly I think they could a little naunce as right now their just kind of evil space communists.

I think thatâs more the CLF who are space jihadists by default, friendly UPP ERTs can be cool
I would love to see more âtreaty or dispute mediationâ events with UPP where shooting them on sight is not a given.

As a faction in CM they present the classic cold-war rivalry that is easy to imagine. Personally Iâd despise them, but its a videogame so we are allowed to have fun. Also their style slaps, green armor on brown is damn stylish for an army.
From the few events we had and player-made lore - CLF is just all radicals among the more moderate version, which seeks just autonomy or independence legally with UA and such. So each and every CLF cell can have a completely different, if not opposing entirely, ideology than the other cell next door. You can probably find far-left and far-right radicals among the anarchists and just plain simple bandits.

UPP isnât a monolith, itâs made up of several dozen countries who all got different ideas on what socialism is or whatever. Yet most people will default to being Russian and larping enemy at the gates, cuz who the fuck has actually read Alien lore.

Trust me the A:RPG writers werenât thinking too deep with them, i mean most players think even less because at least the A:RPG writers made the UPP be russian german and spainish while players just default to russian.

I could care less about the guns. I am more concerned about lore, etc. Stats on weapons mean zero to me.

Its not the performance, but how it feels. The UPP gun could deal less DPS than the CM one, and it would still feel better.
