Why would you like to join the CM-SS13 staff team?
I’ve been gone for quite some time, but usually after playing this long I return to the staff team. I believe it’s time to do so at this point, and have been considering doing so for a while.
What makes you a great addition to Staff? (Experienced Tabletop DM, Aliens Lore Buff, Super Organized, etc.?)
I’ve been staff prior. I know how the game functions and how it should function. I’ve been around a while and I think I’m qualified to keep the game running properly, and have the opportunity to make it fun for both sides.
In your opinion, what is the most important quality of a CM-SS13 staff member?
I believed back in 2020 that patience was the main virtue of a staff member, and I still believe that to be the case. Being confident in your own decisions is also a plus. Being a yes man who sways with the wind is not a good attribute. However, simultaneously, donkey maxxing (being comically stubborn and unwilling to change your mind irregardless of circumstance) is not better.

I was permabanned on the CM discord for less than two weeks ago. This was OVERRULED and rescinded very quickly. The ban was due to a clip that had been captured by someone who had been recording the VC for the past four hours. Said clip was taken out of context. Without context, the audio clip could be perceived as me trying to “goad” others into metagaming. This was obviously not the case. If you want the more indepth full storytime, let me know!
Interacted with Joe Dafoe plenty of times and they always had good roleplay. Ugnip is also a whitelisted synth and Pred Council member who clearly understands server rules and mechanics to a very high level. Veteran community member that more or less everyone knows and trusts. +1

On a serious note, Ugnip55 is a very dedicated and good player. I only had good encounters with him in and out of the game. Knows how to roleplay, his ML and the game in general
Recently joined the Synth WL with an overwelming support by the community, something that should prove how much he is liked and trusted by the community. He is also in the pred council.
Recently i had an interaction with him in game, and while we went to the opposite sides, out of the game we discussed our decisions, to understand why the round went that way. He could have just gone his way, instead he was open to dialogue, and understood my side. This is a virtue i think a moderator should have.
Since i cannot give a +1 i will just say good luck, i am sure you got this in the bag.

Ugnip invests a lot into CM’s community from what I can see. It certainly pays off, given how many people old and new have almost nothing but positive things to say about him. I’m not really an exception there. He’s a very solid person.
You die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Dudes awesome as a possum and doesn’t have an issue of creating a synth loyal cord. Dudes just all around a great guy
My in-game interactions with Ugnip55, from the perspective of an administration aspect, presented an overall positive impression at least in terms of both their personal conduct in how they carry themselves but also an already good overview of server roles and expected community conduct in terms of how themselves and others should be acting.
Past history as a moderator for this server also serves in the capacity to further increase my trust, albeit this was in the period of time where I was on break from CM ergo I can not leverage it anymore beyond hearsay of, at least, a positive nature.
With no further information to suggest otherwise I’d be willing to levy a +1 vote for this application.
