Just asking, I had posted last night about the new Gamer word venting my frustrations for getting a 7 day ban for accidentally referring to myself as r-tarded. I can’t play, get back on today to see I have no reply from anyone I’ve messaged yet it’s been read and my post is gone. If I had broken any rules please let me know, I’m just making this for clarification. Contacting staff doesn’t seem like the right move anymore.
Presumably some obscure forum rule? I would recommend using the DM feature on the forums I’ve heard so much about with a staff member, as that should get you better luck. (Everybody knows the complaint post comes after smh /s)
I actually have I’ve tried reaching out to Biolock and Gamingbeagle1 but they haven’t responded to me after reading my messages. I’ve been trying to get the note clarified as I used the slur against myself so at-least I won’t seem like someone who’s rude to others I can eat the 7 days but they don’t seem to want to humor me about that one bit.
if you were anticipating a public response from staff, you use this https://forum.cm-ss13.com/new-message?groupname=staff, it’s linked on the rules page on the sidebar. it sends it to the staff inbox to be handled, it’s not recommended to message individual members of staff.
if you wanted the public policy response regarding the 7 day bans, it was (most recently) handled here
Wow, Thankyou man that’s very helpful to know, I am still navigating the forum not familiar with the kosher as how to go about such things I appreciate any and all info on the matter! I’m going to look into that post and check that forum, maybe i’ll repost what I’ve messaged them in hopes someone will humor me about the note.
