My synth is basically just a music and STEM lover. My character loves science and music and a lot of their interactions when not related to what’s going on around then will be related to music or science. I can attempt to go into greater detail if this brief description is not enough
Your story doesn’t really show this at all and it’s an incredibly generic personality without more elaboration or an idea of how it will look.
I would treat everybody with respect, But I would talk most civilians just averagely but I would likely go out of my way to talk with scientists. For the average marine, I would try to chat a bit when possible but it’s most likely it would just be me helping them out. For officers, I would likely get to chat with them for longer because there’s less urgency so I’d talk about music with them.
This doesn’t tell us anything about how your synthetic will actually interact with those people except for saying that you will roleplay part of your personality with officers and try to talk to people in the field of interest of your synthetic. Compared to other synthetics this doesn’t tell us anything which is fine on its own but when combined with the lacking personality and lack of any elaboration on it in the story. Keep in mind your synthetic should not just be a quirk, they should have an actual personality beyond it and be able to talk to people even if it isn’t about what they’re ‘focused on’. You don’t spend every waking moment of your life talking about your hobby and neither should they.
This answer is rather lacking because they’re all obvious examples and you don’t really elaborate on it or go into any sort of detail except for copy and pasting from the guidelines page. It doesn’t show any understanding, at all. If the lurker devoured the IO, what would you do?
I suggest you withdraw still and talk to the council to work on your application and develop a stronger personality. I would also suggest reading over accepted and denied applications for examples of what to do and what not to do, since they provide a better glimpse into what is expected.
