Why would you like to join the CM-SS13 staff team?
I’ve been around long enough in the community that I think I should start contributing to it more than just being a mentor.
Additionally a lot of people have encouraged me to apply for moderator.
What makes you a great addition to Staff? (Experienced Tabletop DM, Aliens Lore Buff, Super Organized, etc.?)
I am a pretty big fan of the Aliens universe to the point where I own several books that I keep re-reading. I pretty much know the server rules and ML by heart, including weird rule verifications.
In your opinion, what is the most important quality of a CM-SS13 staff member?
I think you have to communicate clearly, fairly and non-accussatory to stay friendly with the community and you need a lot of patience to be a moderator here. Looking for something through logs can sometimes take a lot of time and why you have to communicate clearly is pretty self-explanatory.
Interacted with Johanna J. Jaakari plenty of times and they know how to roleplay perfectly fine. joooks is a long standing community member who has also been a mentor for over a half year without any issues and has been accepted to the Predator whitelist. They obviously understand the rules and mechanics of the server and have clearly put in effort into making the community a better place by joining the discord staff team. I see no reason not to +1.

Joooks would make for a good addition to CM’s staff team. They’re a helpful and friendly player who has put in time as a mentor and volunteer on the Discord server. +1!
+1 for joooks. has answered some of my mhelp tickets before, always efficient and thorough, also an active answerer-of-questions in the discord, so diligence and capacity for the work is definitely there. theyve been a good discord volunteer and genuinely aim to make the community more enjoyable for others. above all, though, i thinks joooks handily demonstrates the traits they identify as being most important to possess as an admin. we’ve respectfully butted heads a few times on game matters but we were able to have disagreement cooly and non-personally and i see this as actually a great positive in that they’ll be able to handle communicating with anybody about anything in a professional and appropriately detached manner; able to enforce rules as needed but without making it agitating.
Staff needs to stop taking the real ones man.
Jokes aside Jooks is very good mentor, done good work as a discord volunteer, pretty easy to get along with. Been a soild dude for all my time I have had interactions with them. I hate to say it but I would trust this dude as staff. +1 all the way! Best of luck man!
I’ve known this player for years and they were staff on my old server for STALKER 13. They’re dependable, they got a good balance on taking the game seriously but also not TOO seriously, and they are consistently active as a mentor and player on the server. Back when he was staff on my old server I got no complaints, they wereveryhelpful.
While I’m really floating towards a -1 because I once gave them the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play a mouse, and instructed them to ONLY make mouse noises and emote… and then they SPOKE like a normal HUMAN BEING utterly ANNIHILATING the fourth wall… Eh… I guess I can look past that and give my thumbs up here.
