Synthetic Info:
Name of the Synth Character you wish to play:
Helena
Provide a short description of your synthetic’s backstory
Helena was developed through a cooperation between the Research and Development departments of the Three World Empire and the United Americas. Its primary purpose was to aid officers and troops from both factions during operations on largely inhospitable planets or in environments with extreme climatic challenges. The first Helena unit prototype was assigned to LV-559 on Sadimia, the very location of Major Lopits’ Operation Jungle Hearts.
Designated as a field test, Helena had already passed initial parameters and held great promise as an innovative asset for field operations, especially as the terrain on Sadimia was becoming increasingly challenging the more the rebels dug in.
She was then assigned aboard the USS Elísios, where she assisted with repairs and maintenance of the new mainframe for the Conestoga-Class.
In addition to being a specialized unit for field support, she proved capable in engineering and the advanced repair of any machinery in need. Throughout the process, she maintained the safety of the department members as required. Uniforms and regulations exist for a reason.
Following this, Helena was deployed for the final operation on Sadimia, codenamed Dragon Tiger, where she assisted a Royal Marines Commando Major known as Fairburn. Helena endured intense combat, managed to hold a secure area during the firefight, retreating when her programming noticed the dangerr and continued to follow her directives while providing all possible assistance. Which is very much detailed in the Operation Report itself.
Thanks to her, Major Fairburn survived and were later rescued, although the outcome of the operation is unknown.
Describe your synth’s personality without mentioning their skills or previous professions
Above all, supportive, she is a unit that believes in everyone doing their part, just as she does hers, without discriminating against anyone but she would always try and help those in need or seemingly confused. Diligent by design, she starts a task and sees it through to the end, completing it to the highest standard possible. And finally, respectful, she understands everyone is there for a reason and treats all those around her with the utmost respect.
Helena will see through any challenge and will always try her best for her Marines & Officers, never leaving one down.
How would your synthetic interact with enlisted personnel, officers and civilians? How could you involve your personality into these interactions?
Enlisted: Around marines and other lower ranking personnel, the backbone of any force, Helena’s position would be casual and relaxed, certainly more conventional, suited for a calm conversation without complex formalities that might “”““scare””“” a marine who just wants a quick talk, “Good Morning” or is asking what she is. Just as they are all there out of necessity or doing their part for a greater good, she is also with them doing her own part. She is still ready to assist anyone if a question should happen to arise, be it a Private, Corporal, etc.
Officers: Officers are stern and formal. It is ESSENTIAL to use their rank unless instructed otherwise. She always positions herself as ready for a task and, if necessary, offers to assist a department at every opportunity, though she will always ask permission to use that department’s equipment/materials, no matter how mundane the task may be.
She will execute their superiors orders without question, filtering for viable commands and carrying them out with her characteristic diligence. The chain of command must NEVER be broken.
Civilians: Helena understands very well that many of the civilians this far out in the Neroid system came here seeking a quiet life, many lured by Weyland-Yutani propaganda. If Helena encounters any civilian, regardless of age or gender, she will be the supportive unit that person needs while obviously maintaining coherence with her own orders and duties, but swiftly assisting these unfortunates in Neroid, independent of her operation.
She escorts them carefully and, after a brief inspection (Self experience from Sadimia, insurgents are all around), informs the civilians of the current situation. This is her first action upon encountering a civilian or group of civilians.
Overall, Helena would be acting within her purpose at all times while still being on tone with respect and command.
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?
Personally, I feel I have now reached a point where I understand a large part of the game, its style, the community, and how things work for the most part if not fully.
So, after some encouragement, I decided to gather all this knowledge and desire to create something new within the game. Since there isn’t much left to innovate on at my current stage (personal feeling), I’m applying for the whitelist.
I want to see others reactions to the simplest conversations with Helena and to completing tasks with a new gameplay perspective, one entirely focused on creating general immersion for those around me, something i could do with peace in mind and not the rush of rolling Commanding Officer and having to watch the operation and fix the little errors.
In other words, I want to experience something new, a feeling I’ve been keeping along a strong desire for over some time now, to truly put myself in that role. I can say, with all my heart, that this is probably the application I am most excited to get approved.
Regarding the trust factor, I believe this is quite individual. I’ve had many issues with toxicity in the past, and I won’t lie, it hasn’t ended completely, but it has reduced significantly compared to years ago.
I hope that the players and the council members see an opportunity and my dedication through this application and hopefully, decide to give me a chance to prove this desire to transform rounds into something more alive and diverse ![]()
What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?
Synthetic Character Story:
Skills:
How familiar are you in CMs support roles such as medical/engineering/requisitions/command and which of them are you more and less proficient in?
Regarding all of them: although I don’t think I’m very proficient in Engineering, for example, setting up a camera network, etc. I do have more extensive knowledge when it comes to building machines/computers. Surgery and overall medicine was the second support role I picked up and played an absurd amount after Command roles like Staff Officer, and in that area, I HOPEFULLY think I am proficient. While Requsitions was my last support role that i have tested, it is by far the most easy one.
What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.
“Si vis pacem, para bellum”
I will be making examples about situations i will find Helena in on most of the time:
Helena was in the Hydroponics center during an operation with a large number of players on LV-624, when a Facehugger appeared from the eastern jungle and tried to infect one of the wounded marines she was attempting to stabilize after he was found in critical condition. Helena quickly moved to punch the Facehugger, even though its acid could damage the marines nearby.
A group of two marines were running back to the FOB after the frontline collapsed within ETA on Solaris Ridge. A flank cut off their retreat to the north, and the entire frontline was decapitated. Some managed to flee to the west, and Helena decided to follow and assist the two marines who passed through the extreme southwest Mining region. Suddenly, one of them, wearing heavy armor, was pounced by a Lurker. Helena quickly returned and, with the help intent, lifted the marine, who promptly retaliated against the Lurker but still fell wounded. Helena then engaged in combat to force the xeno to retreat, and carried the marine to the north.
During a Delta alert situation, two Runners went after Helena, who fought back and forced them to flee. However, one that was already wounded decided to come back and ended up on the bad side of events. Although Helena pursued the critically wounded Runner who managed to go into a resin door (that was still open), she landed a final blow to finish off the xenomorph and quickly ran off.
Final Info:
Have you been banned in the last month?
No
Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?
During this weekend i will not be home, but today and after the weekend has ended i will be mostly active.
Thank you to those who shared their time with me during the Lore writing process and reviewed my questions about the Programming and Whitelist themselves.
