Funnily enough even the guy who âdoxxedâ frozen didnât get community banned (or did he? He wasnât a day ago), so I am really baffled about this particular ban. Like if we look on similar situations, the guy who posted âLGBT approval rateâ video got 6 months discord ban (I am not implying it should be longer), using a racial slur in game is a mere week ban, but this is the reason for a community ban? It kinda looks really inconsistent. Even calling this something transphobic is definitely a stretch, but does it really should lead to an instant community ban?

Again, like, I wasnât accusing the person who misgendered me in the first place of transphobia. They were outright transphobic later and thatâs beside the point.
However telling a trans person what is and isnât transphobic when someone insults a trans person for saying the Trans Thing⢠(âUh, did you just assumeâ) in a way that follows stereotypes against trans folx is pretty rich, and again: not beating the accusations just because they didnât outright use a slur.
Lastly: politics arenât real. Politics are everything. Nobody is âpolitically agitatedâ about anything. You canât not want politics in something because that itself is a political stance. They were agitated and had a Gamer Moment Afternoon according to the screengrabs.
Anways: I didnât get any hits on the discord. If anybody knows penpusher on Discord then DM me so I can send them a vouch through you for whatever appeal they may make. I have no control over staffâs enforcement of community rules but I donât care if they come back so long as they take a deep breath before hitting âreplyâ next time.
Stop getting pissy with staff for doing Staff Things and put an application in so you can be part of the problem. My DMs are open and I get gayer every time someone sends me hatemail.

Like again, if you made a decision that you must take a punitive action, there are so many options to make a point. You could easily apply a forum ban, remove them from the council and suspend their WL. Done! Point made, lesson learned. Why instantly jump to a community ban? With the evidence provided the action doesnât strike me as something necessary, even as an example for others it really doesnât work well because of the inconsistency.

They also community banned Jinxed for sharing the screenshot of the frozen stuff (the stuff that did look really bad at that point, and you can make an argument that itâs still not a good look), though even frozen is fine with what Jinxed posted. So again, it seems like the management is really trigger-happy when it comes to community bans, which they shouldnât be as the community ban is the highest form of punishment.

I donât know man, but posting here or discord feels kinda degrading⌠I felt that the trans topic is way too heated for social media and us. We are literally banning a CO that stayed , I donât know how long. She was respectable and such.
If we just ignore the Trans topic in the first place or didnât bring up pro-nouns in the first place, We literally wouldnât have a problem in the first place. And Iâm not trying to be disrespectable here and respect everyoneâs wishes, Itâs just that bringing up this type of stuff leds to drama and such.
All in all. Iâm very sad to see Lilpenpusher to be banned over this. And Iâm sorry Arty for people disrespecting you. Itâs just drama after dramaâŚ

Their point is that you canât make a judgement if something is transphobic or not if you are not a transperson, from what I understood. This is honestly a very weird stance, because rules should be clear for everyone. Again, if I understood the point correctly, then how can you even avoid being transphobic if you apparently cannot tell a difference. I think this logic is detrimental on many levels. But I could just misunderstood the point because of how vague it was.

Well, you donât have to belong to a group to understand something or make a judgement call.
Transphobia, racism etc are objective realities that we can all identify with without being in a group.
So I hope that isnât what they mean.
