Synthetic Info:

Name of the Synth Character you wish to play:

Gunter

Provide a short description of your synthetic’s backstory

Gunter, a synthetic unit, was designed for advanced engineering and medical assistance and practice at a Weyland-Yutani research facility. Assigned to weapons research and development, he worked on innovative weapons that would hopefully soon be part of White Gaurd Solutions or maybe even the USCM, or TWE. After a catastrophic failure of failsafe protocols led to the deaths of Doctors Ludvig, Petrikov, and Weiss, Gunter was scrutinized but cleared of fault. Gunter is later reassigned to the medical wing as a perceived punishment, he excelled in patient care, finding purpose in healing despite initial isolation and suspicion from colleagues. His precision, detachment, and dedication define his role.

Describe your synth’s personality without mentioning their skills or previous professions

Gunter displays sophistication and composure, a true gentleman every man should strive to be. His impeccable, sharp attire reflects a meticulous nature that commands if not demands admiration. With a calm, analytical mind, he exudes quiet confidence and subtle pride, seamlessly blending expertise in advanced weaponry and medical precision. Gunter’s slight curiosity about human emotions lends a refined, mechanical charm to his thoughtful interactions. Facing challenges, he adapts with unwavering logic and steadfast purpose, making him a distinguished and dependable presence.

How would your synthetic interact with enlisted personnel, officers and civilians? How could you involve your personality into these interactions?

“Gunter is the latest in synthetic advancements, offering precision and efficiency with an unwavering dedication to your mission. Engineered with a meticulous focus on detail, Gunter ensures every task is executed to perfection, whether in the medical bay, research lab, or on the battlefield.” As seen in a W-Y synth magazine

Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?

For a long time I just thought that Synths were cool and it would be fun to be one. Now that I have played the game for a while longer I have respect for what synth players do as a whole. The time and dedication it takes to build a story, and then stick to character. Plus they seem to add to the fun and almost never take away. Based off of the interactions I have had they are always willing to help out, they know their stuff. They help marines get things done. They truly are the multitool of the game.

So based of the fun times that I have had with several synths especially those listed below I would like to add, help, and enhance the player experience through RP, medical help, and going wherever I am needed in order to help with the USCM success as a Synth.

What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?

This is from a redacted report from the Weyland-Yutani home office:
Director Crossman sent me me, with Dean to talk to a CLF operative to strike a deal to get a [Redacted]. Dean came into my office on the USS after receiving a fax from Director Crossman. From there we discussed how to go about getting the CLF member out of the brig and down onto the planet again. After choosing our actions carefully we made our way to the back way of brig where Dean made sure the coast was clear. After breaking in we talked and made a deal with the CLF member of interest and managed to get out of the brig with him without raising any alarms. I attribute most of this to Dean. From there we managed to get down to our colony on New Varadero. After a bit of hike we managed to make it to [Redacted] on the East side of the colony. After searching for [Redacted] Dean said that he had found it and gave it to me. I then stowed it away on my person. From there we parted ways with the CLF especially after Dean informed me that his motion detector was starting to pick up pings. With danger starting to come toward us we managed to make our way back and report back to the director we had succeeded in our mission. Only to find out that he wanted us to go back out and [Redacted] the CLF member. By this time it was too late the [redacted] had made their way onto the dropship and were piloting it right into my escort ship. Thankfully Whiteguard Solutions was dispatched to pick me and Dean up. That was something that kept me on the edge of my seat when I was roaming the colony and making our way back and getting off the ship. Please make sure Dean is rewarded accordingly

Synthetic Character Story:

Skills:

How familiar are you in CMs support roles such as medical/engineering/requisitions/command and which of them are you more and less proficient in?

I am familiar with all of those roles. I will admit I am stronger in some and less so in others. However, as I noted in my pervious applications I know more than enough to get the job and efficiently.

What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.

If I may amend my second post while I need be prioritizing self preservation trying to stay away and get out of combat and only fighting when necessary. ‘Seeking peace, but prepared for war’ attitude. Which works out for me because I suck at melee combat thus why I boiler and spitter main for combat Xenos haha. That being said combat as a synth is inevitable. Hopefully these examples are better.

Say a lurker in the back line is hurting a critical I am giving aid to. I would beat off the lurker in the most intimidating way possible while keeping the marine in my line of sight. I would then grab hold of the marine as quickly as possible (for this scenario I am going to say I am faster). Then rush to the FOB or a few other marines to help guard myself and the marine. If the Lurker continues to pursue (or maybe a runner joins in) then fight them off while retreating with whatever weapon I have chosen. If for whatever reason if it gets too hard and I become too damaged I would be forced to default to self preservation and leave the marine behind as sucky as that would be.

A marine has a backstory about hating synths. They proceed to beat me up outside of a simple punch. I would use self defense to subdue and stop any further damage while preferably not hurting the marine.

Final Info:

Have you been banned in the last month?

That would be impressive if I was haha. No I have not.

Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?

First of all thank you to all those who read over my story, helped with my application, and believed in me to get my application here. A few of those people are Elizabeth, Kane, Lagomorphica, Richard, Taterthetank, and many more of you. A special thanks as well to SmellyHippie. I know this is mostly a copy paste of my former application. I stand by these words and think they do justice to those who helped as I am incredibly grateful for their time.

If there are any questions, comments, or concerns my DM’s on discord are always open and I am more than willing do discuss anything on your mind. I can be found around UTC-7
