I can moderate roughly 7-10 hours a week with school and work accounted for with still having time for myself.

Do you have previous experience in game or community moderation?
Only one other. I was an Admin at Blackstone back in 2023 during the summer. It made me familier with VAR edits and the spawn menu. And above all, tickets and how they function. I spent roughly 3 months with Blackstone before staff drama happened and the server closed.

Why would you like to join the CM-SS13 staff team?
I want to join because I have a weird passion for watching games unfold. Often time, I’ll just ghost and watch the map unfold as a ghost to see what tactics play out. I also like helping people. Like throwing a hammer on someone who set up an M2C in the req line…
I am somewhat of a people pleaser so I desire to make the game as fun as possible for everyone involved.
As for the staff side of things, I want to be more involved in this community since I’ve been stuck with it and hooked for about the last 4 years. Ever since warrior had another strain that we shan’t speak of ever again. This is just my way of giving back for the joy this game has given me since I refuse to code.
What makes you a great addition to Staff? (Experienced Tabletop DM, Aliens Lore Buff, Super Organized, etc.?)
I believe in calmness through calamity. I enjoy a cool head and when stuff takes a turn for the worst, I focus on the priories. For example, if someone came in with an help asking me that they were shot in the head for no reason, I would investigate that over the three other different A-helps with someone missing their rifle. Blackstone taught me that no matter how many a-helps there are, they will all be resolved by the end of the round. One by one. I also really enjoy helping with or doing mini events that focus around one or two players to make that players day on CM at least.
I am also, unfortunately , a massive nerd and ever since I started playing this I have loved the Aliens lore between the yautja, humans, and xenomorphs. So much that I play Rimworld with the Colonial Marines mod.
In your opinion, what is the most important quality of a CM-SS13 staff member?
Patience and Professionalism. I haven’t heard anything bad about CM staff like I have in other servers with favoritism and so on. Patience is important since some players are likely frustrated or angry that the only game they got to play was ruined because someone threw a HEDP at them while they grenade was aimed at a warrior. Staff members should be patient with community members and take the time to understand both sides of the story as needed.
Professionalism is the ability to maintain a conversation, constructive or otherwise in a respectful tone or manner without degrading into insults or any other way of degrading another persons character. This would include sarcasm. If people cannot act like adults as staff then their time should be short in my personal opinion.

I would like to add that the only action ever taken upon me was in December of 2024 with a discord ban. I can assure you that an incident like that won’t happen again.
I’ve only ever received two notes during my years with CM. My first was in 2022 and my second was five months ago on 20250326.
